You think Poilievre lost his lead due to Carney? Lol!

He lost his lead because people like you believed Carney would "stand up to Trump" but can't explain how he plans to do that in any way that's different than anyone else?

I can't wait for all those Conservative policies to be implemented whether it's the Conservatives or Liberals. Like I said a win-win.

PS what I would be thinking if I were you is what happens in 4 years when/if Trump is no longer POTUS and after 4 years of Carney doing squat against protecting Canada with no one to distract to?
He lost because he represented MAGA lite. HE LOST his seat because

1. he supported morons who invaded Ottawa and fed them coffee and donuts.
2. he threatened to fire civil servants.

so tell me, should he be able to stay in Stornoway on the taxpayer's dime, considering he no longer holds a seat?

Imagine the NeoCons had one and their leader couldn't win his own seat. ON the other side, Carney won his seat quite easily.

As for dealing with Trumputin, did you hear what Trump had to say today in regards to Carney our new Prime Minister?

I guess he will not be able to get a security pass at this point since he isn't an official member of the house?? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Tears Scooby, KEEP giving me your tears.

Lol! yeah...what a remarkable coincidence...now I see how he sucked you in.
I already told you I dont care about the carbon tax.
I would have voted for Carney even if he hadn't paused the carbon tax.
Carney could only do that once he became PM and he did.
Yes, am sure there was political gamesmanship too, but so what?
Its an election and if a policy is both ineffective and unhelpful, just take your oppositions teeth out of it and pause the ineffective tax.
2 birds, 1 stone.
Axe the tax from Pierre isn't a complex and novel idea no one could have thought about before.

Tell us what security clearance Poilievre doesn't have and why?
And then tell us why the Liberals and their supporters suddenly support Conservative policies that Carney will be implementing after a decade of fighting against them?
Tell “us”? Are you more than one person? Or are you so delusional that you think you speak for anyone other than yourself?

You really should get help for that copium addiction you recently picked up.

The NDP lost seats because the Conservatives were constantly calling them out for supporting the Liberal agenda and not joining them to push for an election multiple times. Stop spreading misinformation.
Carney dropped the carbon tax because his own party and multiple MPs feared losing the election on that key issue. No other reason.

Poilievre held his seat for 20 years. Why does it matter if the opposition under his leadership on the whole is even larger in this election compared to others in the past? Are you desperate?
The NDP lost seats both to the Libs and to the Cons.
They lost both because the cons called them out, and because people wanted their vote to go to the Libs so the Libs can be elected.
I have already addressed the carbon tax in my prior post.
Pierre losing his seat after 20 years wouldn't have been any different even if there weren't 90 people on the ballot.
Fanjoy got 4315 votes more than Pierre. The remaining 89 that includes the NDP candidate got a total of 2515 votes.
Pierre wouldn't have won even if it was just him and Fanjoy on the ballot.
His ousting from his riding he held for 21 years, was therefore unprecedented and a statement.
You sound desperate to minimize this slap on the face for the cons.

I call it a Conservative platform because that's where it was copied from.
You're just too brainwashed to realize that and think it was magically developed in a few weeks after a decade of the complete opposite policies being pushed.
That's what brainwashing does to people like you.
There were similarities.
But they are not the same.
There are certain economic policies where you cannot do much more radically different things.
Such as tariff response.
Except for the carbon tax, the spend plan they both put out were quite different.
So no, their platforms were not the same at all barring a few similarities.

What is sad is that you are a tad delusional.
Last I checked it was the Conservatives that wanted to axe the tax, control immigration and build pipelines.
Remember that?
Or is it all forgotten like the past decade?

Those "morons" took the government to court and it was determined that Trudeau and his woke band of thieves violated the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms. So there's that.
Carney will be reducing the size of government as one of his campaign promises. If I was a civil servant I would be threatened by that promise...wouldn't you be? As a non-civil servant I'm hopeful Carney keeps his promise.

Imagine if the Liberals made someone the PM of Canada without ever having been elected or having a seat. Just imagine.....crazy right?

Trump loves Carney...Carney loves Trump. You elected the wrong person if you worry about that.

You sound like a climate change denier. Based on factual history, the Liberal party would consider you to be one.

I say this because that's what people have been called over the past 6 years if they ever criticized the carbon tax.

Oh and if you want to adopt immigration control like Carney has, then you would be a racist as well.

I'll give you some time to sort out your hypocrisy.

If you've been paying attention, which you clearly haven't been, you would notice that this thread is about who people here would vote for. The poll that was taken is at the top of this thread. Most would vote Conservative.
That would be the "us" I was referring to. But it could also apply to anyone following this thread. I'm not picky.

So now that your ignorance has been called out & cleared up and without more of your obvious distraction tactics, do you care to answer my questions or do you just want to continue to troll and look foolish?

Question:

Do you know the difference between attrition and firings?

Making someone the PM of Canada, then right away calling an election is allowed but hey, if you can show me it's illegal, please do. If you can show us it is not within the parliamentary system, please do. I will attest that the Conservatives can run Pee Pee in a by-election and try to get him a seat while keeping him as their leader. Can you do the same? Although it is a joke if the Conservatives had won, Pee Pee would be seatless. Imagine him trying to negotiate with Trump, who can't stand the man not having a seat in government. HAHAHAHAHA

Trump respects Carney and Carney is playing it perfectly with a man who can be handled with a few simple compliments. Pee Pee would have been eating an apple trying to impress Trump with his arrongance.

As for the moronic twats, they should have still be frozen out of their bank accounts. Funny how all the leaders have been crushed and very quiet as of late.

Chris Sky, Pat King, Skelly and others all shhhhhhh, quiet, put in their places with their tails between their legs by JUSTIN THE COVID TWAT CONQUERER OF THE WORLD.

The Conservatives were responsible for ousting the NDP and those voters went to the Liberals. That was my point.

Holding a seat for 20 years is impressive and things change. Trudeau was propped up by many for a decade and he resigned. As of today it doesn't look like Poilievre is resigning. You know why?

I've explained why in a previous post, but in 4 years there will be a Conservative majority so that things can actually get done. Carney will achieve nothing by then.

Should Poilievre step down, it won't make a huge difference. Carney and the Libs will have let Canada down even more by then and people will finally break free of the brainwashing.

Funny you support a government that violated your rights. Tell us again how much you cherish Canada while also telling us why you like your rights being violated.

I never said it was illegal, I said he wasn't elected and didn't have a seat. If Conservatives did that you would sell your mom into slavery to raise money for a revolution.

Trump got who he wanted. This is going to be fun to watch.

Tell us how Carney "will stand up to Trump" again? I'll wait.

My rights have never been violated but my intelligence has been insulted by antivaxxer twats and folks who digest right wing delusional talking points and spew them out.

Trumputin is smitten by Carney so he will be a little pussy cat whereas Pee Pee with his punchable face would have been Trump's punching bag.

Tell us when you are going to stop shedding tears for your loss. I do not have anymore cups left to catch the tears Scoob.

Many who opposed the carbon tax from the conservative side were infact climate change deniers because they held such beliefs.
I also don't think anyone who argued for taking the tax down on economic grounds were ever called a climate change denier.
This is a hyperbolic lie.
Immigration reform isn't inherently bad and no one was ever called racist to terminate certain programs or fix certain others.
Most Canadians on both sides of the aisle agree that our student and TFW programs need urgent reform.
The ones who were accused were probably those who made racist statements and opposed immigration on racial grounds.
You should separate legitimate criticism of someone's backward views from what you allege to be slander (which am sure has happened but I haven't seen much of it).

You are right, I agree here.
But this wasn't an accomplishment by the conservatives.
It is the opposite. It was a blunder.
The conservatives scared them into voting Liberals against the conservatives.
It was unintentional, and ended up sealing their fate.
And if it was intentional it was pretty stupid to do so.
So I don't understand how you can call this an accomplishment.
Its like a disqualified athlete who took PEDs telling you that they allowed their opponent to win.
The mental gymnastics is strong on this one. lmfao.

Yeah the grade school slogan, "Axe the tax".
Ask anyone, and I have even here, what the actual impact of the tax was on everyone's household expense and no one has an answer.
It was just repeated often on social media to drum up conservative support and Carney just took the teeth out of it.
It wasn't such a novel or radical idea anyway to "axe the tax".
