Grocery prices won't come down but the increases will be reduced thanks to the elimination of the carbon tax. Of course that will take some time to be seen.
The only government that attempted to work for the people was Trump's first term in office. We have never had a government here that works for the common people. At least in my lifetime. Harper's was probably the closest.

As I don't work in the food industry I couldn't tell you. But if I had to guess I'd conservatively say that 10% of the inflation was carbon tax related.
