No, Hamas attacks on October 7, were not an effort to wipe out Jews from the river to the sea, as they themselves have published detailed reasons for it.
As was proven via the UN mission's report on rape, there is no forensic or testimonial evidence to prove that Hamas engaged in rape with the next recommended steps being an actual investigation.
As has been proven via the UN Special Rapporteur's report on genocide, along with the ICJ ruling that there is plausible genocide in Gaza, along with reviewing Israel's actions in the context of the definition of genocide as laid out by the genocide convention, it can be concluded that Israel is infact engaged in genocide and incitement of genocide.
None of the facts that I have presented above are debatable, as they are facts.

I'm not exactly what these short quips are actually.
If one surmises who is poorly educated, it is the student protesters who have come to believe they are part of some Marxist struggle. The reality is more complicated. The Palestinian leadership is corrupt, militaristic and reactionary. Hamas is hardly a progressive entity that embraces everyone and their voices.
Gaza is a harsh place where democracy does not flourish. It's a place where people are expected to tow the line politically and culturally. The absurdity of members of the LGBTQ community joining these protests isn't lost anyone.
As one of my brainwashed progressive feminist friends says she supports the rights of Palestinian women to wear hijabs.

Most of us consider that program an act of war. At the end of the day, if you continue to ask for a war that's what you will get. The claims of Palestinian genocide is a not so clever use of words. Palestine and Israel are at war.

Suspected. So the burden of proof lies on the accusers and so far we have not seen any. Israel has come up with numerous accusations of beheaded babies, burnt bodies, rapes etc.,

Israel claimed command centers under Al-Shifa and a "weapons cache". That was debunked as deceptive imagery persuasion and it was infact an image from a gun store in the West Bank.
They claimed AK47s in the MRI room, behind the MRI machine, only to have it debunked that it was placed there by the IDF themselves.
There were many more.
So it is indeed pompous and arrogant. It is pompous and arrogant to claim that Israeli propaganda somehow has more credibility than the entities affiliated with the UN, who have done the good, hard work to bring us the truth.
Hamas is the ruling body, for better or worse, in Gaza. As such they are completely justified in paying their soldiers just like the IDF is being paid for the mass murder of Palestinian civilians. Palestine and Israel are not at war. Palestine is not yet an independent nation (although they are recognized as a sovereign state by 143 countries). This is a one way conflict where Israel is assaulting Gaza. They say they are targeting Hamas but they don't even do BDAs. So they dont know who they are killing and how many. So this is:
a) An assault on the civilian population of Gaza, as an act of collective punishment, which is the Israeli method of operation, and has been for decades. This is further proven by statements by Israeli politicians and officials.
b) Per the IHL's rules of proportionality, Israel's actions amount to war crimes, minimally.
c) Per the terms laid out by the genocide convention, Israel's actions meet the minimum criteria for genocide which are: Killing members of a group, causing deliberate conditions that bring about the physical destruction of a group, causing serious bodily harm to members of a group. And most importantly INTENT as expressed by Yaov Gallant, Itamar Ben Gvir, Smotrich and many other Israeli politicians time and time again. This is what the UN special report lays out and this is why the ICJ also passed the verdict that there is plausible genocide in Gaza. Reviewing the events in Gaza, and taking into account the ICJ verdict and the UN Special report, it is reasonable to conclude that Israel has committed and is continuing to commit genocide in Gaza.

The attack on civilians by Hamas was deliberate...no warning, and celebrated...you seem to gloss over these facts...Israel before even starting the assault gave an ultimatum...an ultimatum that Israel will go to war unless the hostages are returned...Hamas was counting on you and your ilks to bail them of their atrocities...it worked...you support their terrorism acts...and no, Palestinians were'nt dying left and right before Oct 7....Hamas started this shit and Israel is finishing it.
Which Hamas actually offered. Hamas offered to return hostages on the 9th or 10th of October, in return for no war. Bibi rejected it. Because he needed the war to save his ass and placate the ultra right wing he is in bed with, whose support he needs to stay in power.

That comment was by Haim Rubinstein, the Israeli spokesperson for the families of the hostages, until April 2024.
