The Leafs are interested in Toronto native Chris Tanev but don't want to give up a 1st round pick for him. Savard would be considered for cheap like several low-round picks and the Habs would have to retain some salary, I can't see the Habs wanting to help the Leafs, do you? But the Leafs like Simon Benoit's play of late.
The Leafs might be more willing to let that first round pick go if they could work out a contract with Tanev. They don't want to lose the first round pick for a rental. Keep in mind that first round pick could be very low end first round.

Is this the future is now for the Leafs? The core isn't getting any younger. In fact, none of them are getting any younger. This might be their best shot at a CUP in 50 years and maybe for the next 50 years as well. Post pic of Captain Obvious here.

I might be the only one, but I think perhaps the Leafs should be the 1st wildcard and try their luck with the NYR. Crossover onto the Metro division for the playoffs.
Be careful what you wish for. Remember last year’s chant “ WE WANT FLORIDA “ ?

Unlike the best players on other teams who are getting younger? That's a huge disadvantage for Toronto. SMH.

Post pic of Captain Obvious here.
1) Yes, this post is C.O. worthy.
2) Referencing me out of the blue proves once again that I'm still living in your head rent free. LOL. Will you never figure that out?

It's more like the other way around and you can't figure that out...
Not even close. He specifically referenced me when he mentioned Captain Obvious when we were not engaged in a discussion. That is the definition of him allowing me to live in his head. I'd said nothing to him or about him. I had every right to call him out and mock him for that.

Guaranteed that now he will have the courage to come out from behind your (figurative) skirt. He is that predictable.

If you're his self-appointed guardian you should have a talk with him.

Why in heaven would he think I'm referring to him? There are dozens of members here who post pics of Captain Obvious. Yes? No? LOL!
Here's why. You absolutely hate when I post those cartoons.
Typical Shack, posting silly cartoons.
Or, are you going to post another silly cartoon again?
Obviously (post Captain Obvious pic here), I can't mention names (TERB rule)
Be careful or he will post another pic of a little child, and/or Turtle Boy and/or Captain Obvious and/or living rent-free in your head. That's his standard M/O.
Posting pics of little children, Captain Obvious and Turtle Boy is simply immaturity. Nobody else does that.
You were referencing no one but me. Show us these dozens of others.

And as I predicted, it took only a few minutes after Oracle's post for you to come out of your shell.
