Leafs win 4-2. I didn't notice the kid Rifai which is a good thing for a defenseman, he played 11:33, plus/minus zero, 1 shot, and 1 hit. Good outing for his 1st NHL game.
Nylander 3 short handed goals. Only 4 players have more than 3
Leafs have been pumping in PP goals lately. They're now 2nd behind only TB.
Leafs are the highest scoring team in the East.
McMann has speed, size, and can shoot. He should be in the starting lineup for the playoffs.

Tanev and/or Hanifin. There are rumours but one never knows.
Leafs PK is near the bottom. Calgary has a very good PK.
They are 4th ahead of 5th ranked Florida.
Right shot Tanev and left shot Hanifin are Calgary's top 2 D according to TOI on the PK.
Both are +10 on a team that has a -8 goal differential.
Tanev leads his team in blocked shots with 159.
For comparison Brodie leads the Leafs with 114 blocked shots.
Hanifin leads their D in goals with 9. He also plays a whopping 23:45 TOI. Second on the team.
For comparison Rielly leads the Leafs D with 7 goals and leads the team in TOI at 24:21
Either one will be costly.

The Leafs ought to be ashamed for allowing Cayotes to score 4 goals in the 3rd period, losing the game 6:3. What makes them think they are worth to be paid so much.

Hasn't happened yet, but one thing is for sure the Yotes have no skill and no talent like the Leafs but they will check and grind the Leafs in the Leafs' defensive zone until they score.
Yet some Leaf fans and Kyper were saying before the 2916 draft that the Leafs should consider trading the pick to Arizona for Maxi Domi and Oliver Ekman Larsson.

Yes that would've been a great trade for Gary Bettman and Arizona. And in the 2916 draft, Wayne Gretzky the 5th will go first overall to the Leafs.
I think it had more to do with Leaf fans obsession with Tie Domi more than Bettman wanting the American golden boy in his home market.
I think we can put Matthews in the Ovechkin best goal scorer category maybe even better as time goes by.
The scouting report seems to shoot top glove-side on Vejmelkam the last 2 goals beat him top glove-side.
