This slide is beginning to get worrisome. Can they go from first to worst? lol

Everyone knew they would go through a bad streak, but it needs to end quickly, as losing 7 in a row is definitely not good or acceptable. Oh well, back to reality! It ain't over yet by a long shot, but it is a little frustrating for the runs scored to just suddenly dry up!

Last year, Tampa lost 7 in a row just before the all-star game.

I think they did alright!! :p

awesome research THANKS a lot
No problem at all. Glad I could help.

I know that many people aren't into numbers but if you love numbers, baseball is by far the greatest sport for them.

Lawyerman, that was great research.

Now can you tell me what Alex Rios batting average is when
The dome is open, the wind is more than 12km/hour, but less than 20km/hour, its an over cast day, on a 1/2 moon against a RHP in an afternoon game withthe temperature below 20degrees.

:D
You're funny.

Actually, if you were that interested in those types of statistics, you could go here and then find out the forecast for yourself.

This might help as well.

Just kidding of course.

I was not making fun of you, just having a bit of fun at your expense. Glad you understood my humor.
I am now just learning and appreciating the numbers side of baseball myself. It is alot of fun, but I still prefer playing and coaching the gave without over analyzing.

Have there been teams that have lost 7 in a row and didn't do alright (unlike the Rays)?

I understand your humour and I'm fine with it.

I'm glad hockey and basketball are still going on and the Jays can pull out of this slide.

I can understand why the pitching has gone down the tubes and the hitting was off to a terrific start but the hitting is presently almost non existent. Let's hope Doc can pull them out of this mess. If it wasn't for his brilliant pitching, they would be near or at the bottom of the standings. He is super.

Maybe Rios will wake up since he was given a "well deserved" day off.

Well there is a silver lining in the clouds. As bad as the Jays have been, they surely won't keep losing. They are due to start winning again and look who is coming in for the weekend. The Red Sox. Bad timing for Boston because Toronto will be ready to bust out and Sox have the same 3 pitchers lined up as the last time. Wake, Penny and arghhh - Lester, who put up another freaking stinker last night. 2 of 3 at least, for Jays this weekend, then all will be right again in Blue Jay land.

Jays are playing with fire:confused: . Jays had an 8-3 lead after 7 innings. Baltimore has tied things up 8-8 going into the bottom of the 9th inning.

the Jays aren't making things easy on themselves that's for sure!

I am crying while watching the game......WTF !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hopefully, they can regroup and get the win.

It's funny how the relief pitching was solid last year and this year it's just not the same. The need to get this injury bug sorted out.

And whoever is not injured and playing like crap should be demoted and ride the bus.

Aaron Hill has been so good this season.

Two run shot to take the lead. Nice.

Is B.J. Ryan coming in for the save?
