I have 2 nephews and godson in LE One is RCMP All have at least a College Degree (Police Foundations) The RCMP process took 2 years from start to finish and he has 2 Univ. Degrees. You dont see any 21 years coming on the job unless your Dept. has the old Cadet system. They want people with work,life experiences BEFORE applying The average rookie Police Officer is over 25 now. My nephews,Godson were late 20's early 30's when hired.

I agree...the guy with the grade 12 may be eligible to apply but there are thousands of people applying for these jobs and the ones with just grade 12 can't compete with the testing and evaluations factoring against the maturity and higher education applicants.
