Sorry AK. But you have been posting daily without remembering that it's a 162 game season and things can change.

If you're going to post things then you have to be prepared to mea culpa.

Speaking of which the release of Valencia appears not to have hurt the boys at all. My Mea Culpa over.

I don't usually make predictions, but I will venture that by this time in July our Jays will be 10-12 games behind and out of contention.
4 games out in the division, 4 games out in the wild card.

Sorry folks, but I'm officially giving up on this season.

There's always next year though, right?
Yet you're still posting regularly ....

Could somebody please explain to me why Encarnacion is even on our team, let alone why he even he bats 5th ahead of CocaColaBello in the lineup???????????????????
This post is very revealing.
I just pretty much look at his posts with amusement. He seems to think the season is a sprint, when in fact it's a marathon. No doubt he is thinking the same of Joey Bats as well right now.

In a few months we can repeat this post and ask him again.
I do believe a few months have passed.....

Even bigger LoL.

Only thing EE is good at is hitting barely above .200, hitting solo homers in 10-5 ballgames, and grounding into double plays
Well, there are a few other things.....

Hhmmm............... :hand:
I call bullshit.

I say Jays are thinking about letting him go.
He's fucking shit up in a hurry with his .216 batting average !!!!!!
This is the post I was looking for.

You still think the Blue Jays are thinking about letting Encarnacion go?

E.E as of August 26th:

.264 26HR 79RBI

Entering tonight's game: .397 with 6HR & 19RBI in August

Looking ahead to Detroit, Donaldson and company must be salivating at the thought of facing Boyd, some dude named Buck Farmer, and Alfredo Simon who looks like Juan Francisco's buffet partner.

Like it has been said. Long season and you were too quick to write people and the team off.

I don't know what the loup trade post was but if it was trade him I think he stands partially correct in that he was sent down to the minors.

Happy Birthday Dr. Phibes (Price) hope you don't mind that the parrots ate your birthday cake. There's still a basket of popcorn seasoned with Montreal Steak Spice waiting for you.

Can we now call the Jays a squadrone (super team) or is it still too early?

Like the magic number still too early......but it's getting closer.

I'm a firm believer in baseball superstition....NO JINXES!!!!!!!!

I still don't think they should release him until the hit streak ends. But once it does, stick with the good plan. Get rid of the bum. He's just hitting well because AA made those trades. How that helps EE I don't know. Tulo hits ahead of him and hasn't been as productive as expected (but will be fine). JD and JB were already there, as were the guys who hit behind him. Perhaps instead of the famed "player to be named later" AA included a "player to improve later" clause in one of the trades.
BTW, I heard from a source who spends some time in the Jays dugout some information about Gibby sitting and standing. It's too bad I'm not smart enough to tell anyone.

Gotta be one of the most ludicrous posts I've read in a long time.

What do you think about JB stand up for his rookie teammate,Travis? I hope that JB continues to channel his displeasure with his employer through his bat and his glove on the field. Now,this story has gone public it could look bad on JB because Travis is actually making more than 50it0k as a rookie salary this season. Travis can afford to buy more than one suit! And, the way he has been playing before he get injured Rogers can raise his salary after his rookie contract expires anyway. It would be more than make up for the cost of the suit, imo.
Last night pre-game show on Rogers sportsnet, Barry Davis, of sportsnet did a one on one with Jose Bautista. Did everyone kiss and make up or did the star get it wrong?

Maybe Rogers ponied up the money. Travis is in town with them now after having a doctor's appt. Or maybe Travis told Jose to let it go and concentrate on the pennant race. Either way the point was made and it's too minor to worry about.
