I guess you'd say the same thing about this guy in Seattle. Lousy stats for biiig bucks:

Year AB R H HR RBI SB AVG OBP OPS
2015 199 22 49 2 16 1 .246 .290 .626

Better average but EE has better power stats.

Cano is fucking shit up for Seattle with his major underachievement.

Are you serious? Jays are scoring pretty consistently so shit isn't fucked up. His average is low-if he had 8 more hits his average would be close to last years average. Other than that his stats are not far from his better years. Power numbers are fine, he's walking a bit, not striking out more than usual. You would be a hell of a GM.

Jays pot 4 in the top of the first hope they can keep it going. Diamondbacks unload Trumbo to the Mariners who need an offensive boost.

Near the end of Prime Time Sports today Bob McCowan announced he had heard the decision to let Gibbons go was made final and will be announced tomorrow.

It would have to be the strangest timing in sports history. The team has won 2 in a row from a hot opponent and moved into 3rd place. Buehrle is on a roll. The rest of the rotation had a good string and we look like we have a pitching staff for the first time this season. Pillar is hitting again. Jose is hitting again. Donnie is still hitting. Reyes is booting the ball, but he's hitting too.

What's not to like?

Sounds like the Bobcat's little attempt at self glorification by pretending to know more than anyone else fizzled out.

Poor Rasmus looked like a Bad News Bear out there in center field
I'm actually glad we got rid of him, he strikes out a lot and he looks too much like a southerner :embarassed:

Rasmus was such an enigma....if you pitched it where he liked it (low and inside) he could hit it a long way....but no one should strike out as much as he always has......also I notice he has 8 homers but only 17 rbis........look for him to be replaced by the Astros...release trade or bench.

On the positive...yay Sanchez ...the kid was great tonite and the crowd got behind him

I thought it was time for him to change scenery, but I hope Jays fans gave him a nice ovation. Booing a returning player only makes the fans look bad. I was proud when Wells got a big ovation years ago.
