I'm actually glad we got rid of him, he strikes out a lot and he looks too much like a southerner
I'll stick with he strikes out a lot.

Good ol boy Kevin Barker is subbing for Zauno lately and he's doing a good job. Where is the Zauner, is he getting tailoring advice from Don Cherry?

The broken record again, Sanchez will pitch a no-hitter before season's end.

I think Bucko said he was on vacation.

And I like the Zaunster, he adds excellent commentary, plus he too wants Gibby's head on a platter (at least that's the impression he gives off)

On the positive...yay Sanchez ...the kid was great tonite and the crowd got behind him
great effort from Sanchez, too bad he couldn't get the complete game shut out but, those will happen.

Osuna was also awesome. The rest really helped him, heat with movement and the occasional change up!

Apparently, Brett Lawrie(?) bat broke and flew into the stands hitting a woman who is suffering life threatening injuries.

I love this kid!!

Hes gonna be the Latino version of Roger Clemens.
Or perhaps even better
The good thing about Toronto fans is they don't ruin anyone with ridiculously high expectations.
I think he has great potential too. But why be silly about it. I guess he is only about 350 wins behind Clemens. If he has a good June and July, who knows....

Near the end of Prime Time Sports today Bob McCowan announced he had heard the decision to let Gibbons go was made final and will be announced tomorrow.
Gotta love Toronto sports media. Today's Sun Steve Simmins is claiming Stamkos wants out of TB because he was on the bench for the final 38 seconds in game one. Ya, right Steve.

Nice to see Reyes use his speed on the bases, three steals on the day for him and five in total for the team.

EE out for at least a few games with a bum shoulder. He received a cortisone shot after today's game and said his shoulder has been bothering him for the past few weeks. Probably one reason why his offence has gone south.

Whenever Smoake fills in, he hits like Edwin anyway....

The question tomorrow is which Dickey will the Astros face.

The one who fools the team with the lowest batting average in the league.

Or the one who tees them up for the team with the most Homers.

Nice four game wins streak, especially when you consider the two teams the have beaten. NL East leaders Washington and AL leader from West division Houston.

Well there is some good news ... Dickey has pitched a little better recently. His knuckleball has been dancing a bit more over the past two or three games and the Astros starter has had his troubles in this June.

Gibby has to learn to DH Colabello and not start him in LF, given an alternative. Collabello muffs as many runs as he knocks in. Caused another frigging run against us again! Gibby, you moron!!!!!
