In theory they are using the the same process. Which is stupid. As I said, you can't take the high ground when you follow in the same footsteps.

Just give them a couple of days for their mental gymnastics to start in an attempt to intellectualize and rationalize this.
They could have at least checked the group members before sending the sensitive info out. Would have taken all of 2 seconds. There are claims that they used Signal so their messages wouldn’t be subject to FOIA, which is also illegal.
They’re gonna say something like “Art of the deal!” or that dump is playing 4d chess or some nonsense.
It shouldn't have been used. Period. Seriously the mighty US govt, with access to unlimited resources and tech, can't run a private communication server for top level officials in this day and age? With encrypted devices?
I will fault this to every admin back to Obama. Remember when he couldn't have his blackberry because of the encryption that the president can't have in his communications? Why the fuck not issue that level of security FOR THIS PURPOSE?
