Life with chemo

Does it really kill the blood vessels of tumours?...The evidence is anecdotal correct?

I've read his book BTW.
I personally know two ppl who did the protocol without chemo and the tumours vanished. One of them was a family member. He was basically high for 90 days & nights lol

there won’t be any studies & everything is anecdotal as nobody would sponsor a study like that. I can’t give you the exact science but if I had to guess, you’re basically in a comatose state, your body heals itself when you’re out of the way. My buddy literally slept for 90 days & was better after that. It’s pretty wild. I take it for sleep & stomach issues. Since I’ve taken it, not one day of gut issues. It saved my life…or at least drastically improved the quality of my life 🤷‍♂️…and that’s coming from someone with zero interest or experience in cannabis.

I recently got diagnosed with lung cancer a couple days ago. I haven’t even told my family yet. Based on everything I’ve read and seen I think I will pass on chemotherapy. I wish everyone all the best!
So sorry to hear this. I can understand your thoughts on chemo. I've had a family member take the same approach. My thoughts were that I agree that if chemo is just a Hail Mary, then it's not worth the ordeal of chemo. But IF it had a high probability of it being curative or giving years more life, then reconsider based on what a specialist Oncologist recommends. She found out that for her type and stage of intestinal cancer, surgery and a short course of chemo had high probability of success. She did it and lived 25 more years, dying of something unrelated.

Are/were you a smoker? What were your symptoms?

You have my empathy and support. For lung cancer you may have no choice but chemo, it makes the cancer less aggressive. Did your GP make the assessment or an oncologist? Have you had CT Scan yet? I've had five, it's a pain in the ass but necessary. I'm not going to lie chemo is gruesome. I thought I could get by with the nausea pills, I was wrong. To quote Eric Idle, chemo opened up the sluices at both ends. I've made the decision that if Brukinsa stops working I'm not going back to chemo.

terbman1 this may be difficult to digest, it's the truth. If you get heartburn there is an inexpensive solution, Italian seltzer (Brioschi or Crestan) the later is less sweet. I've been using Indica gummy bears to help tolerate the drug cocktail, so far they've worked well together.

I hope your luck improves and may remission be in your future. Keep me updated.

To control heartburn and make the medication more tolerable, I go through four jars of Italian Seltzer a week. It's better than the chalky stuff like Tums and not as hard on the teeth. I prefer Crestan it's less sweet than Brioschi, it's readily available at Longo's of Fortinos. Probably at Walmart as well but I haven't checked. Canada has a Free Trade deal with the EU, Made in Italy shouldn't faze you.

When I had my first appointment with the oncologist my spleen had ballooned to 26 cm. After my latest CT Scan my spleen had shrunk to 17 cm. If I get it down to 12 cm, I'll be in remission. I'm extremely grateful for OHIP, my drug cocktail would have cost me $8300 a month in the States.

When I start treatment my spleen 18cm. it went down to 12cm now it is 15cm . 28cm is too big. You should have had lots of discomfort on left side.

Gators you have my sincere support, keep me updated. Has your white blood cell count stabilized? The spleen plays an important role in the health of your immune system.

As to my discomfort, a 26 cm spleen made me feel like John Hurt in Alien.

My blood cell are good. IGM is good so as FLC. PC is in remission. I am doing shots monthly for PC. The only issue is spleen enlarging so i think i need treatment in six months. All the best to you.

Don't want to jump to conclusion, what does PC stand for? Is it what Red Green said, "you're never too old to be smart".

My spleen blew up in a matter of hours. I thought I was the ultimate dickweed at the time, July 2023. I had just completed a three hill hike, caked in sweat and then BOOM.

I went on my first hike since lymphoma struck me, it was a challenge. The open sections of the trail were dried out by sunlight. The canopy sections were still covered by ice and mud. I made it as far the crossroads between the Humber and McMichael Trails before turning back. I passed by two older men who said to me they were talking politics. I replied, I better run away then.

My hero's oncologist told him that he can continue to give concerts but he can no longer tour. Tony Iommi has lived with Non Hodgkin Lymphoma for almost 14 years. Probably It's a good thing that Black Sabbath can no longer tour, it would break my heart to watch Ozzy sing sitting in a chair.

A concert in Australia a decade ago.

Nobody Wants This is the most popular show on Netflix. In S2 they have to develop the relationship between Justine Lupe and Timothy Simons. He was the breakout star of Veep. I had to give two blood samples this morning, while I re-hydrate, I'll revel in the comic genius of Mr Simons.

Summer's over I become a Guinea Pig once more. Last week's visit to the urologist I dreaded. I initially had bloody urine, having a camera shoved up my prick is still vivid in my memory.

Instead I got a sweet blue eyed blonde. It was a pleasant appointment...even when she told me to drop my pants and bend over. Fortunately I strictly adhere to the Redd Foxx Code, it wasn't going to be as nasty for her as it was unpleasant for me. Looks like I'm doing this annually....I resisted the urge to ask her if I could toss her salad. Two more appointments to make with doctors in the coming weeks.

For those unaware of The Redd Foxx Code.

Redd Foxx came from the poorest region of Southern Mississippi, he never learned how to handle money. I didn't know Demond Wilson was a Vietnam Vet.

Why was the Taste of the Danforth cancelled?

No matter, if the oncologist clears me to travel, I'm going to THE TASTE OF DASA. There to feast on the trippa and nduja!

Panettone and cafe, want some!

Are you not entertained?

Andy Whitfield was set to be a leading man in films, he never got the chance. I found his case strange, he died 18 months after his original diagnosis for Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma, Tony Iommi has lived with it for over a decade. Digging deeper I found out that Whitfield had high grade B-cell Non Hodgkin Lymphoma a more aggressive form of the scourge. I've now lived 26 months since the initial diagnosis.
