Great game..that save by Reimer in the first period was amazing !

3rd period the Bruins were really turning on the onslaught but we held on well and deserved to win overall. Bring on game 6 !

So basically after being non existent for the whole season and then in game 1 gets an elbow to the head and then a bone crushing check and all of a sudden starts skating around the ice like a waterbug for most of the series. Not to mention getting thumped for the whole series and still playing like he's possessed. Hasn't scored a goal yet but he's got my respect.

Anyone know who I'm talking about.

PS
Gunnarsson should win the MUP award. Most useless pussy.

I agree with Glen Healy assessment on the Bruins tonight.....
Claude Julien blew it with his game plan. His cycling of all Bruin lines not alow his top players to get into a groove until halfway through the 3rd period when he shortened his bench to 2 lines and started double shifting the likes of Jagr, Chara, Lucic, Sequin, and Krecji. If Julien had of come to his senses earlier the entire complextion of the game would have been different. The Bruins for the first 50 minutes were lacklustre and it showed.

I just caught the last 12 minutes. Man!!! The Bruins had the Leafs and were shaking them like a terrier shakes a rat! I thought the Bruins were going to pop in 3 at least. The Leafs were just hanging there limp and helpless and bleeding and getting a shit-beating.

Now make a bet for $1000 the Leafs to win the series.
....um ....Did you watch the 3rd period of tonight's game when the Bruin's dialled up the heat? The Leafs couldn't even get the puck out of its own zone. It was brutal to watch and would have been a lopsided win for Boston if not for Reimer's unreal performance (his best ever by a wide margin) and some very lucky bounces.
While I appreciate the effort of the Leafs - they all played their butts off - I like my chances better at Rama. This said, GO LEAFS GO.

The Bruins were down 0-2 and playing desperation hockey. Plus, the refs gave them a free 2 minute power play (probably got a call from Bettman) and they had 6 attackers for over a minute at the end.
Glad the Leafs won and a win is a win but lost way too many faceoffs and they need to get to the Bruin's pointmen quicker. The pressure will be on the Bruins to win game 6.

On the other hand it could have been a response to the fact with the exception of Krecji, Bostons'\ other top forwards haven't been especially impressive up to now IMO.

Boston had a 3-0 lead over the Fylers in 2010, but the Flyers came back to win 4 straight. So the Bruins can choke.

The Pens won game 6 so it will be Pens .vs. Sens. The winner of Boston/Toronto will play winner Caps/Rangers.

I really don't think the leafs had a bad game yet this postseason. This roster is not much different than the one that finished last season.
