Do you guys think this was a good bet?
I bet a co-worker that the Leafs will win at least 2 games in this series. The bet was $100.

Get ready to pay. Bruins in 4, 5 at the most with all the Bruins win being lopsided. If the leafs win 1 it will be in O/T.

The Bruins can play the heavy forechecking game better than anyone. The Leafs don't have enough team speed to counter. This series will be over quickly.

On paper, Toronto can match the speed of Boston, Toronto is equal in the hitting/physical dept, and I feel Toronto can match the depth scoring.
Games 'should' be close, and Toronto does have a chance.
.
Yeah the problem is that paper doesn't play paper does it?

There is no substitute for experience and the Bruins have a truck load of it.

And coupled the Leafs lack of experience this is going to be a short hard lesson for the boys in blue I reckon.

My beloved Sens are in the same boat tonight with them dressing 7 rookies. But let's face it a team has to gain experience somewhere,.

The leafs had a great chance to take a 1-0 lead, Briuns were not plaing at full throttle.
If they play a physical game, COLTON ORR, JAY MCCLEMENT, LEO KOMAROV would be a good line to stir things, they have a great chance but they have to want it....and want it bad.

It's the playoffs boys START PAYING THE PRICE

Not a bad response from the boys last night. I knew it was gonna be a closer game.

Did like the crunching hit Orr put on CHARA last night. Knocked him down and into the Boards. CHARA was not happy.

The good news is that we won but still allowed 41 SOG's against and lost the majority of the faceoffs.

Leafs win with Phaneuf playing 23:35 ! :thumb:

The Phaneuf hit where some were thinking he would/should be suspended I do not see it.
Phaneuf stays in contact with the ice, barely, and the elbow comes up after contact but it never makes real contact with Paille.
My opinion, no suspension.

Form your own opinion.

Bruins in 5. :D
I think leafs in 7.
Nice soild hit by Phaneuf. It' about time he showed up now lets hope in sticks around.
They now know they can beat the Bruins, and in there own building.

Agreed 41 sog way, way to many. Start blocking some shots, not the pink flamingo type of block, one foot up in the air, but blocking them with there bodies.

Good for the much taunted Kessel, I hope this is the start of something beautiful.

We have the momentum, now lets build on it.

It's great having this thread on here and no personal attacks FORM ANYONE, It's BEAUTIFUL :thumb: :D

I'm a little concerned about the Leafs being either over-pumped or jittery in front of what should be a raucous home crowd.
