Regular season? It means nothing.

Much of Pacioretti’s (sic) pay this year was bonus basedDon't forget, in the past the regular season was also important for player bonuses. Score 50 goals, get an extra $500,000. I don't think think teams can offer bonuses anymore.
I totally forgot Pacioretty was on the team.Much of Pacioretti’s (sic) pay this year was bonus based
Can you imagine if that happened in very critical playoff game?
Excellent point. The ref really helped the Leafs out here. It turned out to be the winning goal, as well!!Can you imagine if that happened in very critical playoff game?
I'm surprised Wenel Clark never did that.Crazy stat line, Matthew Knies is the first Leaf to score 25 goals and have 150 hits or more in a season.

I love his play. He is our current day Bill Barber but with more physicality. I believe he is a restricted free agent. This is a guy that the Leafs need to secure for at least a 5 or 6 year contract. His offensive skills my not necessarily old up but for sure his physical dominance will not wain. Right now he is the prototypical power forward as per Barber, Ken Hodge, Wayne Cashman, Eric Stahl and Clarke Gillies.Crazy stat line, Matthew Knies is the first Leaf to score 25 goals and have 150 hits or more in a season.
