The Leafs have lost 4 in a row, I'm assuming Joseph Woll is still on the IL.Good, a high ankle sprain can't be rushed. Leafs have destroyed prospects in the past by bringing them back to soon.

Unless he is the second coming of Caret Price/Patrick Roy, the Leafs still have problem areas in front of their goalie.

One area is lack of team speed. The recent Leaf teams were never speedy but they seem slower this year.

The goaltending hasn't been their primary problem in the last 4 games. Defensive breakdowns by both the defencemen and the forwards has been the main problem. Could also use a little more productivity from the main forwards.

I was watching the talking heads during the intermission between the 1st and 2nd period. The consensus is that the Leafs are too slow.

One star for the coach(es) who spotted the hand pass and called a timeout to make sure of it..

Speaking of Matthews, where would the Leafs be without his production and how can anyone question his performance ?

Leafs record when leading after 2 periods first 39 games 16-0-2. Yes, that's zero regulation loses.
For the season it's 17-3-2.

With last night's win, Keefe gets a reprieve. I thought Jones made a couple key saves that helped us preserve victory. Next to Matthews he was the best player on the ice. Never thought I'd say that about Martin Jones, who's been shite for years.

Our best +/- player this year is currently.....Calle Jarnkrok at +13. T.J. Brodie is +10.

Clearly a hand pass. Only a Habs fan would dispute it.
He extended his hand to play it. Clearly intent to play the puck.

By definition, it's a hand pass if it goes from your glove to a player on your team.
Anybody who has ever watched any soccer in their life knows that if a ball skims your fingernail, it's considered a hand ball. It's the same in hockey. It's not even a question.

That type of play has happened to the Leafs. Leafs pull the goalie. Clearing shot hits Rielly in the hands with a player draped over him. In that play he may not have even extended his glove out. It just hit him. Puck drops to the ice and another Leaf picks it up. After review goal disallowed. Hand pass.

I knew soccer has a weird handball rule but I thought hockey would be more rational.
Your suggestions, eliminating a second serve in tennis would be an extremely weird rule (it would totally change the game as it's been played since inception since you would basically be eliminating the ace), as would eliminating the field goal in football.

It would have changed the whole history of tennis. Pete Sampras would have never won any Grand Slams. Andy Roddick. Roger had a very good serve. Becker.

Aside from Orry, who feels sorry for you, I'd be quite surprised if anybody else would support those changes.

The future if tennis is ONLY ONE SERVE

Nov 30, 2018 — For tennis to survive, atp and wta must get rid of a second serve all together. While it may seem drastic at first, think about it:

BTW 1: Pickleball only allows one serve.

BTW 2: I'm not going to try to reason with someone who can't think outside the box.
