Domi signs for 1 year at $2.5 million. Leafs now way over the cap and still need to sign Samsonov. Could this mean Willie is on the way out?

Now I’m hearing not a done deal yet. Other clubs making offers as we speak.

Muzzin I suspect is going to be on LTIR. That brings them back to flat on the cap.

Then maybe they hope the same thing can happen to Murray (LTIR) - they ride it out through training camp and if he's healthy they need to use a first or multiple 2nd's to dump his contract.

Murray was available to play if needed in the last series against the Panthers so LTIR isn’t going to work. They have another buyout time later this summer or as you say pay someone to take him. Interesting that the Leafs still haven’t addressed their defensive play considering everyone they’ve signed are strictly offence and no defence.

Leafs don't need to trade Muzzin and Murray they just place them on LTIR.

I believe this is the last year the Leafs can use Muzzins as cap relief.
