When Leafs beat TB last year Leafs won 3 games in OT
When Montreal last won the cup they won 10 consecutive OT games

Leafs have 3 of their top 6 D to start the season injured.
They are not going with this D for the playoffs. There will certainly be upgrades here. Especially once Klingberg gets his surgery.

Leafs starter beginning of the season has a .878 save percentage in 10 games played.
They are not going to play a goalie with a .878 save percentage in the playoffs unless there are injuries.

Only 6 goalies have a better save percentage than Woll who have started 10 or more games.
Good thing they didn't trade him for a bag of pucks as one poster wanted.

Yeah I was being sarcastic. Was thinking of the Hab vs Lightning series a couple of years back when the Lightning iced a team with a $95mm payroll. They were still within the rules because there is no salary cap in the playoffs.

The Leafs just lost to the Bruins tonite 4:3 in the last 6 seconds of OT.
Matthews was scoring well but the Leafs went down. It sucks.

Take the positive from the game, Matthews scored 2, and the Leafs came back with the goalie out in the last minute. The Leafs played well against Boston. Not bad for a team that's decimated on defense. Take the point and move. Look Tampa got hammered by Dallas 8-1.

matthews far and away best player on this team, i,d like to see how they would respond if he ever got hurt for an extended period.

Kucherov leads the league in points by 5 over second place. He's a minus 2.
McD leads his team in points and is only a plus 1

For the one who wanted Woll traded for a bag of pucks you can whoop it up now cause it doesn't look like he'll be playing in the next long while.

Context is everything. The Leafs D is in shambles. Total chaos. Giving up grade A chances left and right. Even at full strength their top 6 is not good enough. Timmons is terrible. There's a reason Leafs were desperate enough to pick up Klingberg.

The Leafs are only plus 3 goal differential for the season and that's a testament to Woll.
They are 13 wins and 10 losses so there's your plus 3.
Astoundingly, Leafs are 7-1-2 in their last 10 games. That is best in the East.
Of course after that 1 regulation loss the haters got to take their long awaited shot.

Tavares needs 2 pts vs the Islanders to get 1,000 career NHL points (not 1,000 Leafs points as some may assume).

Leafs with 6 regulation losses.
Only 1 team in the East has less and that's Boston with 5.

Leafs have 7 OT wins.
Both teams 7-1-2 in their last 10 games
