Hmm Yeah so Raycroft has to play shutout hockey if the offence is only gonna score 1 goal . Maybe the leaf fans were boo-ing cause Raycroft is in a scoring slump ?

Anyway .. At least for tonight the LEafs will meet a team that may be tired as Tampa is playing back to back games ...........

....the booing was not oly directed at Raycroft...and he did play lousy, and really hasn't been anything but average at best since getting here...the whole team was getting booed...as they deserved to after such a pitiful performance on their own ice. Enough of the whining from the players about how tough it is to play in TO....at least Gill came around a bit after whining, saying that you have to take the good with the bad....play even decent hockey..and the fan base in TO will be behind them...If they a few games over .500 at home...the road record is decent enough....they would be in 6th place in the conference..

..when the goaltender stinks out the place....Imagine how they would have brought the house down with cheers had he played the way he did tonight in Tampa??....best game I've seen any Leaf goalie play in a long time..

3-0 so far on this road trip, I've been impressed with Raycroft. Seems as though when he's on, he's really on...but if he stinks, he really stinks. Doesnt seem to be any middle ground.
