He's so cringe here, lol...He should have been at the game.

Although maybe he's been told not to stoke things further.
Why, was your cult leader TrumPutin at the game itself?
No wonder that the Americans are doing this:

Hockey Fans Blaming President Trump For Team USA's Loss To Canada

You sound like you are really frustrated the TrumPutin is the one on the losing side..........ROTFLMAO!!

Canada
Fact is that he celebrated with the Canadians. Unlike the stupidity of Trump's jives at his rallies, or that idiot Musk with that chainsaw dancing all over the stage.........ROTFLMAO!!
But he took a great swipe at that moron TrumPutin who has egg all over his face after being the actual loser at the losing end:

"You can't take our country - and you can't take our game," Trudeau wrote on X.

You know who we don't see celebrating Canada's win? Pierre Poilivere.

Who's that?
A certain POTUS who behaves like Putin as he thinks that Canada should be annexed just like Crimea and The Donbas Regions!!

At least the players didn't step on the opposition team's flag in the dressing room as was rumoured to have happened before a Canada/US women's hockey game years ago. Anyone remember that?

Love Hayley but by accounts that never happened...Cool motivational strategy though.

Cammi Granato has gone into this at length.

This tournament further illustrated the importance of having both great goaltending and timely scoring in the big games. You just can’t win without having both.

Had Binnington not made those great saves, the game would have been over before McDavid/Makar/Marner could play the hero roles. By the same token had Marner not set up the Bennett tying goal, Bennington would not have the chance to make those great saves in ot.

After watching this tournament I feel more optimistic about the Leafs’ playoff chances this year because Matthews up until the ot goal he was playing great both ways. Marner has answered the question if he can make great plays in a big game. Nylander had a terrible game against Canada but played very good thereafter. Our goaltending and defence have never been better in this core four era.

The experience the core three got from this tournament will hopefully push them to another level in this year’s playoffs.

I didn't get a chance to watch the game in full, commitments that couldn't be cancelled. By the time I got home there was five minutes left in the third. Will stream in it's entirety today.

I've been saying Gretzky is a sleazeball for awhile. His celebration was muted due to his friendship with Orange Pus Boil. Trump wants him to be Governor of Canada.

Avid hockey fan Chuck, wore his American jersey. No ra ra from him, he's not going to put his invitation to Joe Carter's golf tournament at risk.

Oh no, intentional and valid comparison, up to and including moving the abusing priest/coach to the next town over.

We use "grooming/groomer" too much today, but Hockey Canada is perfectly set up to allow groomers to take advantage of the system.

Facts is facts.

Our enrolment: Down, US enrolment: Up.
# of NHL Players: Canada Down, US up

The lines are crossing/have crossed on all metrics.

Imagine how much better our player develpment would be with the 2.4 million this lady stole:

and the $9 million we paid to victims of sexual assault:

Your registration dollars fund this. Your municipal tax dollars fund this. Your Provincial tax dollars fund this, and your federal tax dollars fund this. Participating in Hockey Canada programming is paying so that there can be more fraud and sexual assault.
So Canadian Hockey is dead because of it's past and current legal problems? If that's the case than the NBA, NFL and MLB are all dead by your standards...

No. 5 should be Bobby Orr goal against the Czechoslovakia in the 1976 Canada Cup. It was his last hurrah.

Bobby Orr didn't take part in the Summit Series in 1972, he was recovering from knee surgery.

Hold on to that thought...

1-72 series
2-87 CC Gretzky to Lemieux
3-2010 Crosby Golden Goal
4-2002 Salt Lake
5-?
Canada Cup where Daryl Sittler scored the winning goal and IIRC that it was against Vladimir Dzurilla of the Czechs.

Great goal and I think that he was still only playing on one good leg.

I watched the DVD series of the Canada Cup with my sons when they were teenagers. They'd only seen highlight reels of Orr, but not complete games. At the end they could see how he was easily the best player in that series.
