Yes it was barbaric. What is equally barbaric are the Israeli war crimes against the Palestinians. People also do not support Hamas. They support Palestinians, who are civilians.
You're crazy if you expected the Israelis to just sit back and watch 1200 innocent people get slaughtered. There needed to be a strong response. If not, that kind of behavior would be encouraged in the future.

At least Israel gave the Palestinians time to leave the area before carpet bombing by opening up a humanitarian corridor. If the civilian palestinians didn't leave, unfortunately they're seen as a combatant.

War is not fair.

Name calling. The classic sign of and admission that you are losing the PR battle on TERB. I think you should calm down a bit. You seem to be getting frustrated and worn down having to battle so many TERB members without convincing a single one.
Fringefooter.
You're a coward
Mine, only by you and Kluutz.
It seems like you do your fair share of name-calling. Hypocrite, much?

Fringe is an insult? Hah! It's very accurate. He is a small minority here on TERB. He is a fringe element. Try again.

He has called me idiot and moron on several occasions. Crickets from you.

I said name-calling, not insult. And yes, calling a poster by something other than their handle is name-calling. You also called them "coward" and another poster "Kluutz". I only bring it up because you said you lose the argument when you start name-calling, while you are name-calling the other posters.

Yes. have you? Maybe you can show me sources where he was trying to remove the White presence from the Americas because actual historians say the battles were because treaties were not followed.
How is that any differnt then this .Is Israel compliant with its original boundaries? Has it complied with the Oslo accords? Is it really trying to deliver a Pali state?

BS, Fringey. I'd be an idiot to say that and I ain't no idiot.

I defy to to find that quote and provide the post number.
I forget how old you must be shack and that you really don't understand how the internet works.
The link was included in the quote, as I do every time.
I'd say you should get one of your grandkids to show you, if anyone would breed with you, but I would bet they hate you.

Same stuff, different thread

“This is one of those conflicts, where you cannot and should not take sides. People should feel moral dilemma. Because there are dirtbags in power on both sides, and they don't seem to actually care about finding lasting solution”

Why? Why should anyone feel morally obligated to see it as a moral dilemma? Especially if in the end, morals are not universal and subsequently this is about self determination. If you believe in the latter, under whose authority is it, that anyone should be obligated to feel as you?

On one hand, you’ve argued both sides are deeply entrenched and there’s no compromise. Aka “it’s a lost cause”…..Then on the other hand, you argue they should compromise………..

Why not simply give them, both sides, what they want and have fought for the past 75-100 years. The right to self determination..however it plays out, wherever the chips fall.

This is one of those conflicts, where you cannot and should not take sides.”

Palestinians want destruction of israel. Not self determination which they have been offered many times. That’s why it cannot be done “simply”. Because israel does not want to be eliminated.

So?
How does that change, or even remotely change “simply” letting them figure shit out for themselves.

This is not a one on one school fight. Countries have allies who have interests. Is something that banal really needs to be explained?

Nope, it doesn’t. What makes you think it does? Your superior intellect?

If so, maybe you missed earlier post mentioning Wetern interference in the mid East. Or perhaps your superior intellect is struggling with the fact nothing has worked? Or perhaps it’s doesn’t grasp some banal things such as

You can’t help those that don’t want help.
God grant me the wisdom
You can’t save the world
Etc and so on.
