Why? Why should anyone feel morally obligated to see it as a moral dilemma? Especially if in the end, morals are not universal and subsequently this is about self determination. If you believe in the latter, under whose authority is it, that anyone should be obligated to feel as you?
On one hand, you’ve argued both sides are deeply entrenched and there’s no compromise. Aka “it’s a lost cause”…..Then on the other hand, you argue they should compromise………..
Why not simply give them, both sides, what they want and have fought for the past 75-100 years. The right to self determination..however it plays out, wherever the chips fall.
