Big win tonight! Take it one game at a time one shift at a time and anything is possible. I believe the Leafs will win Game 5 in Toronto. It's the Game 6 back in Florida that worries me.
I like how Woll played tonight. He’s calm, didn’t give out juicy rebounds and flop around like Samsonov tends to do. With that said, the Leafs played a near perfect defensive game and made it easy for him. He will stay in net till the end of this series. He may even be the Leafs‘ starting goalie next season.

Dubas has drafted a goaltender in higher rounds almost every draft, there are now five in the system. They can't all be Marty Scrofa, one of them MAY be Marty Brodeur.
Someone pulled my gunnysack, I was told that Keefe would start Matt Murray. Why would he be in a hurry to get fired? Enough with the worn out retreads, let the young goalies play.
Ken Dryden, Patrick Roy and Cam Ward all won the Stanley Cup as rookies, Martin Brodeur and Jordan Billington were sophomores.

Almost shit my pants laughing when Slick Willy was floating around aimlessly in the high slot, avoiding any potential for physical contact with an opposing player as usual, and was gifted a goal right on his stick from the puck unexpectedly rebounding out of the corner off the referee's knee. Never a better comedy script has been written. 
To be fair, that flaming Sherwood up his ass appears to still be smoldering away as his game seems to have picked up a tad of late. Not a lot, but still recognizable.

At one time, the Habs had 4 future HOF goalies in their system. A team can never have too many good goalies.
And they traded away 2 of them. They kept (at that point) the worst one, Gump, and traded the best one, Tony Esposito, after playing 13 games.
Draft rules or not, 53 seasons is Way Too Long to go without a Championship. Even Calgary won one Cup. And I never say 3 Final appearances in 53 seasons was "disgusting", but the fact Vancouver never won a Championship is.
It should be a slam dunk that Luke Schenn is coming back to Toronto next season.
He's the ideal partner for Rielly. Schenn did the same for Hughes in Vancouver.
Rielly had his best season when he played with Ron Hainsey in 2018-19.
He scored 20 goals, 72 points, and was +24. All career bests.
Hainsey that year was +30 also career best. He was also +5 in 7 playoff games.
Hainsey is career -21 and Rielly career -22
In these playoffs Rielly has 3 goals 11 points, and +10 in 10 games.
Only Slavin +13 has better in these playoffs. Schenn is +7 in 10 games.
Against the Panthers in 4 playoff games Rielly is +2.
It's Brodie -5 and McCabe -6 that was getting caved in.
Rielly has been playing like a true #1 with Luke Schenn.
Schenn has a very low cap hit. Lead the league in hits and will fight.
He's slow but so was Ron Hainsey.

No hate for the leafs...they are a good team, will they win the cup this year? chance is slim...but never even expected them to get this far....who do i hate? bandwagon fans and the media...they talk so much hype of the leafs when they were winning and essentially asking for heads to roll when on the brink of elimination...this doesn't even happen in just hockey...baseball and basketball too...TO fans (bandwagon) and Toronto media are just pathetic bunch...I'm with Mitch Marner...you don't listen to them, you won't gain anything positive...
I laughed when I heard that. What exactly do they care deeply about? It's not the wants, needs, expectations or opinions of the owners, the fans, or the media according to Mitch Marner. He said they actually don't give a shit about any of that and don't listen to or care about anything that is said or written by anyone outside the dressing room. I suspect that even includes what the coaches are saying inside the dressing room given their refusal to put in consistent effort game in/game out. What do they care about?
Their own ability to sign contracts and keep making money. Everyone else can pound sand. Player selfishness on full display. Well done, Mitch!
Nylander was another overt example of player selfishness. He not-surprisingly played the game of his life when getting 40 goals this season was on the line. Pretty sure there was bonus money to be had for him at 40 that was going to disappear if he stalled at 39. Didn't matter if they won or not, just him getting to 40. Once that was done, he was back to fucking the dog most of the time he's on the ice.

‘It might be Keefe’s back door criticism of the core players combined efforts in the pre three game.
Kyle Dubas is paying $3 million for a special assistant and is performing poorly. That special assistant should be shown the door ASAP and give the $3 million pay cheque to goalie Joseph Will. I believe in pay for performance. Matthews and Tavares should be let go and pay Matthew Knies a few million $.
