I remember when Nylander went on strike like 2-3 years ago. I would have ditch him. The guy has talent but does not give a fuck. Wanted a few millions. He got them. Speaking of salary Nylander is not even top 4 on Leafs in salary. If you include O'Reilly who's making 7.5 million (Rielly is also 7.5 mill) Nylander is 6th on Leafs in salary.

Most hockey analysts I've heard speak about it have said they will eventually let him back.

Sadly, the Leafs got eliminated in OT on home ice in game 5. Matthews scored zero goals in 5 games. Time for his to go elsewhere.
changes are coming, I would expect.
Kyle Dubas to go to Pittsburg. Sheldon Keene would be fired. Tavares would leave too, O’reily would takeover as captain. Joseph Woll and Matthew Knies would get more $$ and play more games for the Leafs. I look forward to a changed and refreshed stronger Leafs team.
