Can't we just copy/paste everything from last year's thread into this one and call it a day? I don't see this season being any different unfortunately. ;) Otherwise it feels like a lot of redundant effort on our part to arrive at the same ole' outcome....call me a pessimist I guess...

I’m optimistic.
With a couple 50 goal scorers and a hot goalie, Leafs will win the Cup.

On the highway of life
Full roster of 23 (14F, 7D, 2G), 49 of 50 contract spots used, almost $2.9M over the cap, and nobody they can send down without waivers.

One of Kerfoot (3.5) or Nylander (6.9) will be leaving, the guys making more are almost untouchable.

EDIT: Kerfoot has a modified no-trade, has to submit a list of 10 teams he won't go to.

,,,,crickets....crickets.

The Toronto Fecal Loafs are making decisions out of fear. They were right to get rid of Campbell, why spend money on retreads? They have a crop of young goalies, let them fight it out for a chance to be a starter. Despite what happens this year Auston Mathews is gone, there are times to take risk for the greater good. The young crop can't all be duds.

Leafs: Let mediocrity rule.

Which screenplay did you get that from?

Mel Brooks?
Mel Brooks made Robin Hood:Men in Tights to spoof Kevin Costner's bland Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. It worked due to Carl Elwes (The Princess Bride) is a better comic actor than George Hamilton.

The Toronto Fecal Loafs...striving for mediocrity!
