I thought that Ottawa played a disciplined defensive game tonight. The Leafs seemed off balance for most of the night. Samsonov is looking pretty good so far.
I give high praise to Justin Holl for the past 2 wins. 2 big blocks against Washington and winning goal tonight. Nylander has looked really good too. Leafs won despite a softie allowed by Samsonov in each game.
I think they can get to the playoffs with their offensive power, however in the play-offs it is a different animal and defense and goaltending play a more important role.
If they can luck out and have a farm guy goalie have a career year, then they stand a chance.

Mrazak was 12 wins and 6 losses last year with a .888 save percentage and 3.34 GAA so yeah it's a fair assessment to think the team can drag along a terrible goalie and get to the playoffs. Campbell after November wasn't much better.
Kallgren last year also had a .888 save percentage. His record was 8 wins 4 regulation losses and 1 OT loss. GAA of 3.31
Pretty much the exact same record as Mrazak
