According to the Mayo Clinic guidelines for the gender dysphoria in the pre- pubescent children the MAJORITY of the decisions regarding the "treatment " MUST be made under the supervision of the medical professionals with the specialization in the child psychology because gender dysphoria is, above all, a psychological issue. Do me a favor and please don't speak on the subject anymore. You don't know anything.
So then when did I state that I was an expert in this field? But I am in some related fields and have more expertise than those who seem to think that whatever the right wing Governors are doing is supposed to be the right approach. Just the opposite in the case of DeSantis!!
It is not the question of what they are "pushed" to doing. The issue is preventing them from choosing the path that they want to pursue with their parents' blessings!!

That goes for 98% of politicians. Just look at Trudeau. There's another mass shooting in the States and he introduces legislation to freeze handgun sales in Canada, despite the fact gun homicides in Canada are only ~300/year. For reference, that's about 1/13th that of successful suicides. But it's easier to be tough on guns than tough on mental health issues. Similarly, when it was pointed out that the number of gun deaths had risen during Trudeau's tenure, when they had previously been decreasing, he pivoted to accusing Conservatives of not tackling systemic racism.
Unfortunately, politicians will always put on acts of theater because it's not about making the country a better place, it's about getting re-elected.
