Jeff Hoffman had his best start today for Dunedin.
He seems to always pitch exactly five innings every outing and typically has 4 shutout innings and one bad inning.
Today he went 5 innings only give up 2 hits and no runs.

Jays first overall pick in this year's draft, Jon Harris, made his professional debut yesterday with the Vancouver Canadians and also got off to a nice start.
2.2 innings pitched, 1 hit, 4 SO, 1 BB, 0 runs

I think Harris might have fallen down to the Jays because he had a terrible start in his last college game just before the draft.
Gave up something like 8 earned runs in 8 innings pitched.
Kind of like tripping and falling on your way into a job interview room.
Also in somewhat related Blue Jay news the main pitcher Toronto sent to Oakland in the Josh Donaldson trade, Kendall Graveman, has been very impressive since getting called up from the minor leagues on May 23/15.
So, Billy Beane is getting something in the Donaldson trade. Losing Graveman was the main thing that worried me about the Donaldson trade; but, you've got to give up something in order to get something.
