Well the Leafs were not going to win every game to the end of the playoffs ... but it would have been nice. lol
Losing 7-1 was not how I had the streak ending, but you could see it coming.
Good thing to look forward to is although Winnipeg is playing well it is a winnable game, especially for a team that just got pumped.

Reimer looked just awful again. Also can't say I'm impressed with how passive Gardiner is being. Jake stood and watched Jokinen miss an empty net, then again soft on the PK. You'd think Gleason a much better shot blocker... big body...physical guy to have out on the PK.

Turned the game at 4-1 in favor of the free UFC fights and have the Caps/Habs game on the PC.
Nice Washington is winning 4-0 right now.

Nice to see the Habs losing. Washington had lost I believe 7 straight. I couldn't believe the shots on goal 27-4 with 4 min. left in the second. Thought it might be a typo on the Scores hockey page.

Well that ending sucked, but got a point after being down 4-1.
Phaneuf played well, but yes had a mistake or two.
Maybe Bernier should have started or come in after the third goal.

Overall the Leafs come home with five points from the four game road trip.
It stings a bit that the Leafs won the first two then the last two games happened.

With this OTL point, and Montreal getting hammered by the Caps 5-0, the Leafs move ahead of Montreal for third in the division.
Yes Montreal does have two games in hand.

I forgot about these other outdoor games.

Ducks lead LA 2-0 in the first. Game being played in Dodger Stadium.
Tomorrow there is a game at Yankee Stadium in New York.

so I know Cherry hates russians and european players with a passion, but he speaks the truth about Kulemin. After that 30 goal year, he basically disappeared. He doesn't have that hussle he used to have. Definitely way overpaid 3rd line player for 3 mill. I just hope they use that cap space for something better. Unfortunately, with Nonis being foolish and signing phaneuf for 7 years, it'll basically be used for raises on all the other players. Anyone else feel like Gunarsson is "off" lately? He seems hesitant to have any body contact. Whenever he has to go back to retrieve a puck, he's been like a pussy cat. As for Reimer, I like the kid, but he basically lost the game tonight. Bernier basically stole a point for the team.

I attended a silent auction yesterday and made note of a couple of items, a signed Gilmour sweater that went for around $350 and a signed Lupol sweater that went for $500, I was quite surprised.

I would think 6. Two against Florida and Ottawa they should win, TB however has been stellar without Stamkos(who would have thought?) And I wouldn't be surprised to see him in uniform for the Feb. 6 game. Vancouver always tough.
