Delusional. The reason why Putin invaded the Ukraine was twofold. First NATO was considering Ukraine's admission to membership. Second, ethnic Russians were being treated like second class citizens in the Donbas region. Their candidates for office were being banned from running by Kiev. NATO membership would have been a non starter for Trump. And he likely would have been on the blower with Zelenskyy so fast about Donbas threatening pulling out of American assets unless policies changed.
