Didn't he have the house and senate in 2017? I feel like he did. And, [checking notes] couldn't do fuck all with that. No repeal of Obamacare, no border wall, no infrastructure bill. Will it be different this time? Sure, maybe. I mean, the last congress did absolutely fuck all except eat its own, but they are more ideologically aligned.

But, we'll see how it all turns out. I suspect there are going to be many new members of the leopard ate my face party in the coming year. It will be interesting to see Trump claim credit for the infrastructure bill Biden passed, or the strong economy. I guess we'll see what is a failed ideology.

Passing legislation and spending money isn't all there is to the Federal government. It should be challenging though. (In the case of Trudeau, hire a mess of people at the Federal level.) I look for the Administration to run the federal bureaucracy (that's what it is) as best they can. This includes the Federal regulatory bodies. The Executive runs our foreign policy which as the American President gets him involved in almost every global situation.

The strong U.S. economy is cyclical. I suspect we will have a recession next year. It might be fortuitous for Trump to have the inevitable recession early in his term. If the Liberals are thrown out of power, your successor government will benefit as well from the economic cycle. That's just the way the ball bounces.

Peope including Trump's own supporters know how reliable he is. No
surprise if it ends up taking him more than 2400 hours to end the war
in Ukraine. That is still a more desirable outcome than for NATO members
having to come to the rescue of Zelensky the way Kim came to the rescue

As the Intel Agencies revealed that the war was planned for 2022 irrespective of who was elected in 2020. The following circumstantial reasons is definitely in line with the war preparation:

Putin would not have invaded Ukraine before 2018, as the FIFA Nations World Cup was being hosted by Russia who invested in the building of the infrastructure etc for this huge event.
No doubt that he would have contacted Xi to say that he needed his support to start the invasion after this World Cup event.
Xi probably told him to hold off until 2022 as China was the Host for the Winter Olympics. This would have put China in the middle of a rock and hard place if Putin invaded prior to the games. The majority of Nations would have boycotted the games if Russia was not kicked out of the Winter Olympics!!
That is why Putin made that trip to China to be one of the celebrity world leaders at these games in 2022 at the behest of China. All other leaders of the advanced nations not surprisingly boycotted the Winter Olympics. Then immediately after the games is when Putin invaded Ukraine!!

2015 - US joins the conflict...who was President?

Looking at Trump's track record, I would say the odds of Hamas and Russia starting conflicts would have been zero.
