No I'm right. The waiting list and delays are not because of covid because they existed long before covid.
Our Healthcare system is very broken.

There was a backlog before the pandemic. Stop trying to change history. Our hospital and medical system have needed a massive overhaul more than a decade.
Those are all during the Flu Season. We all know that when masks and social distancing was implemented during the Pandemic then the Flu cases dropped!!

Are You suffering from Dementia? Do You remember what the whole debate at the start was regarding the mandates when You first threw Your two cents in. These mandates when implemented during this Pandemic helped to curb the outbreaks of the Flu, especially as a record number of Canadians even had the Flu vaccines. So what you googled was from prior to the pandemic. We know that a huge section of the Canadians do not get vaccinated for the Flu and that is why with all the social events and no mandates in place, of course during the Flu Season the most vulnerable will be hospitalized. Does not mean that the Healthcare System is "F***ed" like you claimed. But You just made the point that vaccines and Mandates help to contain be it the Flu or this Covid-19. Now zip up!!
The US has now had more Covid deaths than from all wars they've ever been in.
