Exactly. Spending most of your time and money in a bar is just sad! When I was young I didn't really think about it, but as I got older,,,I realized how lonely and sad they actually were that the highlight of their day was drinking all evening.

Yes not an easy job for an attractive women & chances are if your a bar fly just there to drink it ain't ever going any further. A good indicator of your stock is if a bartender, server, waitress at a strip club, flight attendant gives you there number
I don't see this thread as stirring up shit, it was a simple story about his progress with his favourite bartender.

I bartended in the Stratford hotel 30+ years ago. There was a club upstairs and a fine dining restaurant downstairs called 'Daniel's' at the time. The hotel owner named the restaurant after his son when he was born. The head bartender was this cute little ball of fire named Doris. She wasn't even 5' tall but she could stare down the knarliest dudes no problem.
I agree with that. But to think you will actually pick up the bartender....that's delusional. And by the way there are other ways to meet people that doesn't involve sitting in a bar.
I've always been frustrated by the fact that bars and clubs have been the most popular places to 'meet people'. I don't drink, I don't associate with people who drink heavily or frequently, so I would never look to meet a bf or even a female friend in those places.

The female bartenders .. they smile when they serve you .. and although they are stuck behind the bar and working for tips .. there is a sexual connection .. I can feel it too !
I wander into a strip club and those girls are all over me ! Where do I work, do I come in often ... they can't wait to date the master !

Come on Lizzy it's not that hard! Tell her a few jokes & pay her a few subtle compliments & most importantly act like a gentleman, if your decent looking & confident you stand a chance... But ya if your there with your buddy's every nite pounding back drinks or obnoxious you don't have a hope in hell! The key to picking up any hot women in the service industry is sincerity, bartenders & waitresses are usually a pretty good judge of character & are use to guys hitting on them & trying to bang them... you gotta act differently than the other 90% & show them a little respect

Conway is a narcissist and his master over on blue drama feeds into his ego so he'll keep the pot stirred. I don't want to see him bringing 411-style bullshit to this board. I have to agree with you surferboy. I would say that aside from sp's and online dating, I have dated more hot women I met as my waitress than any other way. Some have gone on to be significant girlfriends. I think they have time to get to see how you act with people and your vibe etc.
Big difference is that is in real life, I don't even go to places where I'd even come into contact nor interact with toads like you, least of all have the heart to make fun of you in person.
