Chris Berman used to call the NFC North, the Norris Division. NFL referees are attention whores, thet should be officiating the WNBA.

I know you didn't explicitly say that. However, when somebody lists factors of why they like a certain team, they are implying that Vegas didn't consider that factor enough. Hence the implication is that they know more than Vegas. And also keep in mind that Vegas considers more factors that we didn't even know existed and probably has actuaries and algorithms. This not just you but any other bettor, and all the "experts" on TV, radio, blogs, newspapers etc. etc. Nobody can top Vegas, nobody. I'm sure that they do make mistakes but to try and pick them out prior to Sunday is a damn tough task.

That's part of my point. Vegas doesn't fuck around. They can't afford to make mistakes. There's too much money and careers and livelihoods at a stake. IMO, the only way somebody can get a leg up on Vegas is if somebody has some very significant inside info that even Vegas doesn't know about. It has to be a family member or a very close friend of a player who has leaked some info to them.

I did this for over 20 years but stopped at least 10 years ago, so the numbers I've quoted may be off a bit and I added parameters to look at along the way so some are a smaller sample size.

However, I still have my notebook at the bottom of a drawer somewhere. I shall retrieve it at some point and give you all the results I came up with.

You've bitched an whined before about betting, but if the NFL and betting were not so inextricably linked to each other, the sport would not be the behemoth you enjoy that it is now. Deal with it.

Tony Romo, Troy Aikman, Chris Collinsworth are all analysts great at dissecting plays. Not the newly minted Tom Brady. Platitudes and cliches are all he is good for. Nowhere near as good as the Greg Olsen he replaced. And for a whopping $375 million over 10 years. Shambolic. Cant stand his rubbish.

Greg Olsen is still with FOX but now as the number two analyst. He went from making $10 million a year to $3 million a year with the demotion. No fault of Brady, though.

That's some pretty thin skin you've got there. You complained last year and you'll be complaining next year. Deal with it. It's not going away.

BTW, I went 0-3 on my bets last week.

Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua are the best wide receiver tandem in the NFL. With those two back after lengthy injury spells, the Rams disposed of the Vikings 30-20. Matthew Stafford still has omph in his arm.

Rams HC Sean McVay was hired when he was only 30. In his 8th year, he is still the 3rd youngest HC in the NFL. But his impact has been phenomenal. Head coaches Raheem Morris of the Bucks, Zac Taylor of the Bengals, Kevin McConnell of the Vikings and Matt Lafleur of the Packers were all assistants under McVay. Amazing.

Rumours swirling that Kupp might be traded.

Improbable successful last play Hail Mary by Commanders. The defender, who is outside the end zone, tips the ball to the Commanders player in the end zone. Unreal 😲

Two QBs have a chance to redeem themselves. Andy Dalton of the Panthers is sidelined by a car accident so Bryce Young will be the starter. And with Deshaun Watson out for the season, the talented but erratic Jameis Winston has been named the starter for the Browns. Marcus Mariota did well replacing Jayden Daniels. Let's see if the maligned Young and Winston will seize the opportunity
Jameis Winston took his chance in demolition of the high flying Baltimore Ravens. 27/41, 334, 3 TDs, 0 interception. Incredible performance. The Browns ought to cut Deshaun Watson, take the cap hit and move on,

Bryce Young peed in his pants again with 2 ugly interceptions. Rookie Bo Nix of the Broncos showed him how to play the position. Humiliating

The idiot defensive back who instead of just trying, like they are coached, to knock/spike that airborne projectile straight down to the turf not only batted it up and backwards behind himself, but was also way off near the Washington sideline taunting the Commanders as that last play was commencing and then sprinted back to the mass of players near the end zone to gift Washington the game.

These types of plays should never be completed in this way. The defenders are coached and coached and drilled and drilled to just knock/spike the fuckin ball straight into the turf with fuckin force.

This defender, if he is not a star or budding star defender, should be let go at the end of the season, if not before that, just as were dunderheads Dee Ford of the Chiefs and Lee Evans of the Ravens were in the recent past.

Lee Evans who allowed, thru sheer carelessness and inattentiveness, a surefire winning TD catch that would have sent the Ravens to the SB to be knocked out of his hands was subsequently let go by the Ravens during the off season:

Dee Ford, who thru sheer and utter negligence, carelessness, idiocy lines up offside on a 4th down, last gasp Brady pass that was intercepted and would have sent the Chiefs to the SB was let go by the Chiefs during the off season:

This is not rocket science.
