Looks like we’ve jumped from the frying pan into the fire. I thought Dubas was bad, but Treliving has managed to weaken a defence that was already one of the worst. Other than Gregor, none of his acquisitions have made any positive impact. It’s easy to dump on Reaves, but he’s not half as bad as Klingberg.

Leafs have no defense and crappy goaltender, What with these leafs fans praising this Woll Kid like he next Cujo lol
Leafs last best goaltenders was Ed Belfour and Curtis Joseph.
They will not make the playoffs at all , Teams in the Atlantic division are getting better , the Sabers , Redwings and Senators are improving .

lol Leafs should never sign Tavares and made him captian at all .
Keep Matthews , Nylander and Marner and get couple decent defensemen, maybe they get a good shot to win lol

I've never been a big critic of Keefe but it seems that the Leafs have no discipline, they have no grit, they have no consistent game plan or cohesiveness.

At this point I think that Keefe is in over his head. They need a coach who will inspire them. Bring back King Clancy.

Time proves you right here.The Islanders have done better without Tavares. Way too much $$ stuck on him. Huge mistake.

As a Sens fan man that was good to watch!

But I have to admit I thought they were going to get their asses beat.

They had the better goaltending.......Reaves is -9. Wow.

Tavares has 432 goals at present.He's 33.

Question for the board. If he scores 500 is he a hall of famer?

Baring injury he's most likely going to get there.

Marcel Dionne reached 500... never won anything. connor might be next in Edmonton...

Don't get me wrong Tavares is a great player yet its a team sport. For the money spent on him the Leafs could have had 2 or 3 good defensive player. They already had a prolific offence.

You absolutely need strong defensive players in team sports.
