Taking Berrios out was a strange decision but I very vaguely remember a couple of other pitching decisions which were just as strange. It had to do with starting an inferior pitcher so they could save the better pitcher for the next game. Of course, there was no next game because the inferior pitcher lost the game that would have move the team to the next round.

No way, the Jays will re-sign Chapman. Chapman's hitting is awful!! Belt and Kiermaier, won't be back with the Jays, either!!
I’m with you on this. Kevin Kiermaier started getting on my nerves. I liked him, but I definitely did not like the way he was shopping around his free agency going into next season during a playoff hunt. Like dude STFU the season is still happening here buddy. Focus on the Blue Jays.

Manoah needs to lose weight and work on his mechanics and confidence. Doc was sent down to the minors for a season and came back an All-Star.

Manoah will be back and shine next year.
And the other 4 will all have injuries.

lol yeah and I’m not thrilled that he made his comment minutes after the twins eliminated the Jays… all smiles and jokes “I will let Shohei Ohtani set the free-agent market.“ then he’s like “bye Toronto nice knowing ya.”

it’s all hogwash this dude is jumping for joy to be a free agent and didn’t care about much else.

So I guess it’s fair to assume both Ross Aitkens and John Schneider will be back in 2024. So I guess that means no Gibby. Lol:

I hope Atlanta wins another World Series this year. Then everyone can point a finger at the president for not making friends with AA.

AA is 1 billion times better than RA. Im sick of RA. He’s too much of a geek to be the GM lol.

Nerds make good accountants, GMs not so much. I would like to see what happens if RA attemptrd to over-rule Bruce Bochy.

John Smoltz out Seixeiros Sid.

Bullshit. Bullshit. Bullshit. He's lying through his fucking teeth.

Schneider would have said so at the time, immediately post-game. He'd have manned up. Instead he talked about how tough it was to pull him (because he knew it was the wrong thing to do) and a lame list of reasons, last of which was, "organizational decisions". A rookie manager was supposed to defy the GM, Prez and analytics dep't?

As Rosie wrote: Atkins and Schneider can't fart without Shapeero's approval.

He gave the analytics department its overriding authority. He entrusted Atkins with qualified domain. He mandated replacing one rookie manager with another rookie manager. Neither Atkins nor Schneider breaks wind without Shapiro sanctioning it. He instilled a doctrine of “process” over results. He ran with the axiom of “collaboration,” which functions as a shield against identifiable culpability.

…..but at the end of the day, RA is a geek and a nerd 😬

Nerds are cool…..but RA ain’t cool.
