We lost our way into the playoffs! It really shows.

This team is not capable of playing baseball. How many times have we seen a lead off double, three outs later and still standing on 2nd base.

Just start the renos at Skydome already.

They had a chance to win or tie late in the game, that is what most teams wish for. They outhit the Twins. Gausman pitched okay, but not up to his usual standard (plus Minny has his number). Game really could have went either way, the Twins just had a couple of HR's. I thought Chapman had hit one out of the park, which would have gave the Jays the lead. I like that Bo tried to score on the play at the plate because hits were at a minimum. I think they played well.

Berrios goes tomorrow and he has a 3 - 1 record against the Twins. His only game this season against them this year was a 3 - 0 win where he pitched 5 2/3rds.

I like Bassitt in the finale as he has been pitching very well late in the season.

Or if Taylor Swift attends one of their games.
Which, at this point, is probably more likely than the Jays reaching the ALCS.

You see the look in the Blue Jays eyes after this game one in interviews? These guys don’t want it. Every single player on Minnesota is so focused.

As Tony Montana would say - “ the eyes Chico ….they never lie:”

I wonder if Carlos Carrera has brought over to the Twins any of his sign stealing knowledge from the Astros. The way the Twins layoff of Gausmans splitter, is definitely questionable. And either way, he should never have started game one of this series against literally the only team that has his number like that. Very dumb managerial decision, but regardless, these losers can’t hit the side of the barn with a beach ball or however that expression goes….

Tampa Bay had less than 20000 fans last night in their opening playoff game. What a waste.

why on earth did they pull Berrios? He was pitching a fantastic game.

Edit - This is on the manager and his staff.

Because John Schneider is a moron. I love how even Buck Martinez was questioning that very stupid move. Well, we have good old Johnny Boy to thank for this. Just like how this high school coach started Gausman for game one against a team that clearly has his number… now he pulls Berrios, because he is quite simply a moron. Like come on man it’s right in front of you, Berrios was pitching a great game …wake up and smell the roses Johnny. We clearly didn’t know enough about him last year. This year; it’s like he’s sniffing glue or something.lol. The last thing we need is this overthinking idiot manager fucking things up even more when his team can’t even hit to begin with.

I suspect this game plan was designed by upper management, the guys with the big heads who think that they're so smart, and Schneider was following orders. It was an organizational decision. Even Buck and Dan seemed to know that this was going to happen from the very beginning.

Vladdy has got to be the dumbest base runner!
I just came to the keyboard to type this exactly.

6 innings and 8 LOB.

Please just put us out of our misery.
