And also, if you look at past conflicts, the UN casualty counts and the Gaza Ministry of Health numbers have been within 2 to 4% of each other. Not to mention the Gaza Ministry of Health has a very methodical way of accounting for casualties with PII data, which they also released on request earlier during this conflict.

Even very renowned journals like The Lancet have deemed the Gaza Ministry of Health Numbers accurate.

Nobody knows the real number of dead anymore.
Bodies were counted previously in hospitals, but all the hospitals are not functioning.
Nobody can retrieve the bodies buried in rubble or move them to be counted.
And you can't count bodies easily when they are just parts of bodies in rubble.

There are reports that 150,000 Palestinians are 'missing', which means they are likely dead and buried in rubble.
So the real number of dead is likely between 150,000 and 400,000.
