The US is discussing a ban on fuel exports. What comes into play then, as Russia has done this, and soon others will, is trade begins to shut down. The oil markets are so interintwined and operate a a max capacity that these building disruptions are at some point going to tip over.

Im so glad I e bike and transit to commute. Im already planning no flights for vacation, adjusting expectations for shopping and services, and making sure my household is recession resistant..
