The Nicaragua application was not successful.I don't think it will be successful though because Germany can adopt its own foreign policy. Plus no one is going to ask Germany to go against Israel. They are in perpetual apology mode (as is the west in general) even though they don't owe them anything today.
It wasn't successful, the ICJ said that there needs to be a conviction for genocide to rule that Germany is aiding genocide.I don't think it will be successful though because Germany can adopt its own foreign policy. Sarah Phillips is a moron. Occupying any land that doesn't belong to you exclusively, and then refusing to leave at the behest of someone with lawful authority over the property, is VERY likely to result in physical removal. Leaving without being forcibly removed is certainly safer than the alternative, but that's entirely in the hands of the protesters.
You mean like the way Israel is occupying Palestine?Sarah Phillips is a moron. Nope. Let's hear how you make that analogy. You mean like the way Israel is occupying Palestine?
I'm surprised any of these dopes can even pitch a tent.
You are arguing that occupation is wrong.Nope. Let's hear how you make that analogy.
It's an important part of the equation. The one thing to note though, is that the US did not have the kind of relationship with South Africa that they do with Israel.
The US electorate is much more likely to shift on their support for Israel than suddenly develop an interest in Palestine, I agree. But I agree with the last statement. In the US though, the votes lost might not be so much due to support for Palestine but more due to people not wanting American tax payer money going to Israel.
