I don't think it will be successful though because Germany can adopt its own foreign policy. Plus no one is going to ask Germany to go against Israel. They are in perpetual apology mode (as is the west in general) even though they don't owe them anything today. The ICJ is about to rule whether Germany is aiding genocide.
This would be court ordered BDS.
Nicaragua’s five requests to the ICJ
During the court hearing earlier this month, Nicaragua requested five provisional measures.
They include:
*Last week, the German government announced it plans to resume cooperation with UNRWA following a report into the agency’s ability to ensure neutrality.
- Germany shall immediately suspend its aid to Israel.
- Germany must immediately ensure that weapons already delivered to Israel are “not used to commit genocide, contribute to acts of genocide or are used in such a way as to violate international humanitarian law”.
- Germany must immediately do everything possible to comply with humanitarian law.
- Germany must reverse its decision to suspend the funding of UNRWA*.
- Germany must “cooperate to bring to an end the serious breaches of peremptory norms of international law by ceasing its support, including its supply of military equipment to Israel”.
The Nicaragua application was not successful.I don't think it will be successful though because Germany can adopt its own foreign policy. Plus no one is going to ask Germany to go against Israel. They are in perpetual apology mode (as is the west in general) even though they don't owe them anything today.
It wasn't successful, the ICJ said that there needs to be a conviction for genocide to rule that Germany is aiding genocide.I don't think it will be successful though because Germany can adopt its own foreign policy. Plus no one is going to ask Germany to go against Israel. They are in perpetual apology mode (as is the west in general) even though they don't owe them anything today.
Sarah Phillips is a moron. Occupying any land that doesn't belong to you exclusively, and then refusing to leave at the behest of someone with lawful authority over the property, is VERY likely to result in physical removal. Leaving without being forcibly removed is certainly safer than the alternative, but that's entirely in the hands of the protesters.
You mean like the way Israel is occupying Palestine?Sarah Phillips is a moron. Nope. Let's hear how you make that analogy. You mean like the way Israel is occupying Palestine?
I'm surprised any of these dopes can even pitch a tent.
You are arguing that occupation is wrong.Nope. Let's hear how you make that analogy.
