Shit is happening because the Israelis have slaughtered, brutalized and violently dispossessed them for 75 years. This is not some one off incident out of the blue. This is just one, in over 75 years of fighting and there will be many more unless something is done to resolve the conflict. You cannot oppress and brutalize someone and expect no backlash.
