Leicester in relegation zone after 2-1 defeat by Crystal Palace. Overall, 5 defeats in last 6 matches. So, inevitably, Brendan Rodgers has been sacked with 10 matches to go. Who is going to save them now?

Chelsea sit 11th with 38 points from 28 matches. In comparison, "glamorous" Brighton & Hove Albion sit 6th with 43 points from 26 matches. But having fired Tuchel, Chelsea have no choice but to stick with the uninspiring Graham Potter.

I feel sorry for Liverpool, how can you compete against a club that can outspend you 10 -1.

How is Roberto De Zerbi prodigy Mikhailo Mudryk doing at Chelsea, he chose money over loyalty. Could Brighton not afford to pay him $104,700 a week? Roberto isn't very big on defense, it showed against Brentford.

Still working on his English.

Is Ashley Young from Birmingham? He was moonlighting as a runway model while playing for Inter.

I can see from the starting line-up why Chelsea lost, you can't win with Joao Felix as a center forward, he cost Portugal a World Cup. I'm assuming Potter doesn't use a trequartista (false 9).

According to the op Cucurella is cacarella.

Spoke too soon. Graham Potter has been fired by Chelsea. His previous club B&HA are doing great without him with a fraction of the budget.

Not sure where he is from. But he spent about 10 years with Man Utd.

So Chelsea signs Potter for five years at $15.4 million a year, then fire him after seven months, which means they still owe him $61 million. Unless Boehly is a looter of State funds like Abramovich, how can he afford the outlay? Will Julian Nagelsman move Joao Felix out of the center-forward position?

Roberto De Zerbi is the opposite of Antonio Conte, a good offense is the best defense. That was his game plan in Sassuolo and Shakhtar, both clubs achieved European competition. Didn't know Caicedo is at Brighton, he played for De Zerbi at Sassuolo.

Why is Irish Guy chortling, next month he might be rubbing cat shit on his face. He predicted that De Zerbi would fail in the EPL, backing it up with infamous cat poo.

I told him he was going to be sorry.

Now Lampard is back in charge at Chelsea 2 years after being sacked by them the first time, and a few months after being sacked by Everton who deemed him incapable of keeping them in the premier league.

Brighton have a really good scouting and recruitment system that made Potter look better than he actually was, but they still didn’t score many goals under him. It’s telling that they improved even more and started scoring freely after was replaced by Roberto De Zerbi.

No hat-trick for Haaland today, he scores 2 goals only including a beautiful scissor kick (MC 4 - Southampton 1)

My beloved Burnley yesterday secured promotion back to the PL with 2-1 away win at Middleborough. With 7 games left we have a 9 point lead over second place Sheffield United, whom we play at home tomorrow. A win tomorrow will give us almost an unsurmountable 12 point lead so first place will be more or less taken care of :D
Next order of business will be to strengthen the team in order to give PL survival a fighting chance.

The only teams in the bottom half that still have not fired their managers are Fulham, Nottingham Forest and West Ham. Fulham have over achieved their mission of staying in the Premier League since their promotion. Nottingham Forest still keeps faith in their manager, as they have just been promoted. The only manager that has truly under achieved this season and still has his job is West Ham's Moyes. West Ham fans just cannot comprehend as to why he has not been shown the door as his team selection and formation only produces a very poor performance day in and day out. My tenant a truly ardent West Ham fan is extremely pissed off watching them, and she like many fans wants Moyes to be fired. However, if he manages to keep them up, and they go on to win the European Conference Cup, then that may give the fans something to cheer this dour season of theirs.

Chelsea lost 1-2 to B&HA. At home. Wow! Old Man Utd striker Danny Welbeck scored again for B&HA. Great to see Welbeck reviving his career after horrendous injuries.

Tottenham lost 2-3 to Bournemouth. At home. Another wow!

Newcastle were shown the door 3-0 by Aston Villa. Great to see another ex Man Utd player Ashley Young doing amazing at Villa

Crystal Palace won (again) since their old manager Roy Hodgson replaced Patrick Vieira. They are now comfortably out of the relegation zone. Sometimes firing a manager really works.

Small town Aston Villa, B&HA, Brentford, Fulham are all above big spending Chelsea. Delightful

Cucurella is cacarella.

Chelsea are paying out $330,000,000 in salaries and they looked like, to quote Michael Palin, limp-wristed caricatures.
