It wont happen. Gareth Southgate is not inventive enough to utilize Trent's skills.
Southgate does have a tendency of copying whatever club tactics are trendy, but this is probably a bit much for him. Most likely he’ll just stick with Reece James or Trippier in a 433 for defensive solidity. Stones has also been playing this inverted fullback role for Pep, but England need him to play centre back.

England would have gone much further in the World Cup if Pep Guardiola was the coach. Because man for man, England have more talent than any other team. But Southgate doesnt know how to utilize the squad. He thinks Trent is a liability. Pep would have pressed hard like he does with City, forcing opposition into mistakes. Southgate doesnt get it.

I know people resent City because they're owned by Arab oligarchs, but they're a pleasure to watch play, they beated the shit out of Arsenal the other day. 4-1

Very balanced team, they've been beating everyone, RM could be their toughest test in a couple weeks.

No shit, that's going to be a great game. I hope city wins, I'm tired of Real or Barcellona winning.

He's a beast, still young. Broke the record, but he does well because of the great passes too.

'I will go home now and play some video games and then sleep': Erling Haaland claims he 'does not think' about Dixie Dean after breaking the Premier League's single season goal scoring record in Manchester City's 3-0 win over West Ham

Leeds fired their second manager of the season and hired big Sam Allardyce with 4 matches left. $2.5 million bonus if he is able to keep them in the EPL. Tall order. We shall see

How come there were no red cards in the Brighton v Man United game. Casimiro deserved a red and I can see why the Brighton players were incensed when he made that second nasty tackle that was as bad as his first but no second yellow card issued. Then another surprise was Antony's deliberate kick at the shins of that Brighton player when he was pissed off by thinking that he himself was previously fouled. Normally, VAR pickups on all these dangerous fouls and asks the referee to take a look at the monitor, but Man Utd got away with it and then finally justice was served when the last kick of the game was a penalty awarded against them.

Arsenal have stumbled when it mattered the most, but give credit to Brighton.
MC only need 3 points to bag another title, and they got 3 games left, they should focus on RM.

A picture is worth a thousand words.

Yes, that was a big loss for Arsenal hell 3-0 to Brighton. I hope City wins against Real Madrid, but they had a hard time scoring, Real has a great counter attack

I'm not surprised in the least, Roberto De Zerbi has never had a losing season.

Haaland is on a learning curve, the young CR7 used to get flustered when he couldn't physically dominate his marker. If he cant figure out Antonio Rudiger, what's he going to do against Acerbi? Double cancer survivor, he gained a call up to the Azzurri for Euro20 by stopping Haaland in the CL. In late January he stopped Osimhen cold.

RM got crushed, could have been 6 or 7-0 if it wasn't for Courtois.
Haven't been following serie A lately so can't tell how good Inter are but anything can happen in a final.

I agree, they dominated. Courtois was great, saved them several goals. Inter is not as good as City, but a upset can happen anytime, but I doubt it.

Man City certainly tore Real apart yesterday, very impressive performance. City play a formation very similar to what Vincent Kompany has installed at my beloved Burnley. It wouldn't surprise me if Pep hasn't made the short trip to Burnley to discreetly observe Vinny's training sessions. :ROFLMAO:

As much as I dislike Man City and similar 'plastic' clubs such as Chelsea and PSG etc for what they stand for, I expect City to win PL. Beats Arsenal winning, us northerners don't identify well with southerners, particularly London based clubs. :D

With Southampton now relegated there are realistically two other clubs from Leicester, Leeds, Nottingham Forest, and Everton on shaky grounds to join them in the second tier.
Everton have two winnable games left. To me they will stay up. Leeds are unlikely to win both their last fixtures. But with Leicester struggling for points, they are likely to go down, along with Leeds or Nottingham Forest. Will be interesting when it is down to the wire.

Man City and Arsenal have automatically qualified for the Euro Champions League. The three other contenders battling for the two spots are Newcastle, Liverpool and Man United. To me Newcastle have to win just one more game to qualify. Hence they should be able to sew that spot without not much of a sweat with the likes of Leicester as their next opponent. I think that Man United will also join them as they have 3 more matches while Liverpool have just two remaining ones left. Liverpool and Brighton to be part of the Euro Cup, along with probably West Ham. Tottenham could lose out to Aston Villa for the Conference League tournament.

NF dispatched Arsenal 1-0 and are safe from relegation, and so MC win another EPL title with 3 games to go.

More interesting is the fight at the bottom of the table (Everton, Leeds, Leicester), 2 teams will be relegated along with Southampton.
