Here
I don't know about this team... 3 out of the 8 starters... and 2 of the 8 runners-up... for the ASG... powerful offence... lots of talent everywhere... decent depth and potential on the farm...

5 years after we first had this debate... here... kudos to Shatkins... I was not one of their supporters... but have learned to respect... and admire... their professionalism...

Lots of injuries this year... and roller coaster pitching... both starting and bull pen....

To date... their most consistent aspect... has been... finding ways to lose... once again proving the old adage... you can only go as far as your pitching will take you...

They are 43/40 right now... they will need 50/29 or better to secure their way into October...

Doable... if they can find ways... to start winning... those games... they have been finding ways... to lose?

Las Vegas projects 43/36 the rest of the way... and their odds of playing in October at 35%...

They need to come back from the ASG... and put together a winning streak of some kind... they have the talent... they need momentum...

I don't know... I am not putting my money on them... yet...

That is one hot looking babe sitting behind home plate at tonight’s game in Baltimore.

With the white top. Her date was gone for a while. I wanted to get in there.

Rumour has it that Jays are interested in trading for Nelson Cruz. Huh?, they have enough offence already, they need a good starting pitcher, since Matz has lost his way.

insane offense if we get him

put him as designated hitter as we do not have one if he comes cheap also that allows room to trade a hitter for a pitcher

good pitching wins in playoffs if we get there

Good that Tellez has gone to NL, Jays won't have to face him.
Rowdy was a favorite, he was so stoic. How many times was he left high fiveing himself, getting sunflower seeds tossed all over him and so on. At least in Milwaukee, he won't be treated like The Skipper in Gilligan's Island - nobody will try to push in his stool.

I saw Vladimir Guerrero Senior in real time in Montreal. He was a 5 tool player. (Actually, he might be a 6 tool player. "In a 2012 paternity suit it was revealed that Guerrero has eight children with five different women.") It's possible that Junior might have more power.

P.S. Junior was smart to skip the HR derby. He's having a great season, no point risking screwing up his swing.

From the above article:

Mendicino said the plan includes pre- and post-arrival testing of everyone crossing the border, and additional testing four times a week for unvaccinated individuals.

"It also includes significant limitations on unvaccinated individuals, who will have to undergo a modified quarantine, not be permitted to go anywhere but the hotel and stadium and have no interaction with the general public," he said.

I would have preferred that unvaccinated players not be allowed into Canada but it seems like they are trying to compromise. Some anti-vaxx players will undoubtedly whine about being confined but tough shit.

That 2nd dinger that Vladdy hit last night was officially measured as 416 feet. If that was 416 feet, then Hitomi Tanaka wears a b-cup bra.

They have the most insane BO that I have ever seen - and Springer isn't even hitting yet.

Please, another top end starter or a lights out closer! That's all I'm asking!
