Kirk getting better defensively as he matures is a more likely scenario.

When they got him, I didn't think the Jays needed George Springer. In his first game he went hitless but didn't strike out - a positive sign. If he hits for power they may have to have him hit clean-up, opposing teams are pitching around Vlady.

It's been a roller-coaster year so far, glad to see they prevailed in extra innings. The Rays are in a funk but the Wankees are coming on.

Is this why they got Springer?

Springer will tough it out, he doesn't want to go back on the IL.

I was corresponding with a Braves fan who was in Dunedin for the series. He said Acuna is just just as good as Vlady. Being diplomatic, I said of course, Acuna is sensational but the Braves could get swept in the series. I'm surprised by the Braves record, figured it would be the other way around.
