A manager can only work with what he has been given to work with. That would depend on the quality of the lefthanded pitcher
You bring in Loup. Your best leftie.A manager can only work with what he has been given to work with.
Pitching sucks!
Now that we are second guessing who would you have brought in? My guess is there may be no correct answer!
really look at his numbers, if he is your best time to close up shop! You bring in Loup. Your best leftie.
Even Gregg Zaun thought so as well:

Is there a different Jays of which you speak because he never managed the Toronto Blue Jays.Former Jays manager Mike Redmond fired today as manager of the Marlins.
I'm saying he's the best of a sorry lotreally look at his numbers, if he is your best time to close up shop!
ok I agree on the sorry lot......it is easy to second guess, I just don't think it matters which lefty you bring in, they all have issues.I'm saying he's the best of a sorry lot
This season is all AA has, with or without Gibby.ok I agree on the sorry lot......it is easy to second guess, I just don't think it matters which lefty you bring in, they all have issues.
Gibby won't be here much longer unless they start to win. He will be the fall guy as AA tries to save his sorry ass!
I hope you are right. He has increased the operating budget of the team and has nothing to show for it.This season is all AA has, with or without Gibby.
My bad. He managed the Jays farm teams in Lansing and Dunedin in 2011,2012.Is there a different Jays of which you speak because he never managed the Toronto Blue Jays.
After last night's game, I just wanted someone's dickey on a platter!Right now I just want someones head on a platter. That means you Gibby!!
AA really dropped the ball on pitching. That was one area that needed a very urgent upgrade. All the way from 2009 the ERA has been over 4.0. Year after year he failed to bring adequate pitching to the club. Six years of substandard pitching is enough. It's like he has a blind side. The bottom line is, I can put together a decent hitting line up. Putting together a solid bullpen is a whole other matter. AA just doesn't have it.I hope you are right. He has increased the operating budget of the team and has nothing to show for it.
Big deals that look good on paper but he never gets the job completed. Always leaves the team with glaring weaknesses
Designated for assignment**(or DFA)[1]**is a contractual term used in**Major League Baseball. A player who is designated for assignment is immediately removed from the team's**40-man roster, after which the team must either:[2]
return the player to the 40-man roster within 10 days from the date of designation, or make one of the following contractual moves:
- Place the player on waivers
- Trade the player
- Release the player
- Outright the player from the 40-man roster into the Minor Leagues
Situational hitting appears to be an unknown art with our team. They pull everything hard to 3base.Another thing I noticed Jays arent very good at clutch-hitting.
Has anyone else noticed that?? Or am I being overly harsh??
And I think it all comes down to pitching.Situational hitting appears to be an unknown art with our team. They pull everything hard to 3base
