As for Carney Vs Trump I believe Trumputin is quite smitten over Carney so try and have some patience in your basement life. Let's see what comes out of their first face-to-face meeting. I acknowledged that the majority of NDP votes went to the Liberals, which is quite obvious since the Liberals won.
Conservatives need to take personal responsibility for their MAGA-lite messaging instead of shooting the Liberal messengers who helped people see why they weren't the best people to lead Canada at this time.
Do this again in 2029, and it will be a 5th Liberal term.

Nothing wrong with someone condemning racists. But that's not what happened here and other times. Trudeau condemned people who dared to criticize him for the poor immigration management his party has been part of. Just another example of how Trudeau and his party lashed out and labelled people because they had a different opinion.
But similar to the the carbon tax hypocrisy, as soon as they realized they were going to lose the election, then suddenly, immigration control came to the forefront of their platform.

The Conservatives surged ahead in the polls because people thought Trudeau would not be able to stand up to Trump.
When he resigned and they elected a new leader, the support started to increase almost overnight mostly because people were happy Trudeau was gone. He pushed his own supporters away in the past year.
Support continued to increase each time the Liberals adopted Conservative policies...carbon tax removal, immigration control, government spending control, etc...
It was the wavering of Liberal supporters for their own party that caused the drop and then the marginal victory. It was nothing that Poilievre of his party did that significantly turned the tide.
Carney's campaign was just better a convincing voters that Carney could control Trump...when in reality, Trump preferred Carney. Why do you think that is?
