Theres a lot of misconception with China in the west.
US increased their interest rates in an attempt to screw over China this year, even at the expense of their own ppl.
do not be ridiculous
the US raised their interest rates because U.S. inflation spiked up to unacceptable levels not seen for 40 or 50 years
That interest rate policy decision had nothing to do with an attempt to screw over China.
that inflation cost the democrats the US election

your 'the US is picking on poor China' routine has no credibility

It was, however my point is that you cannot rely solely on western sources for an accurate depiction of many geopolitical talking points even as of today.
well western sources are far more credible than you are
re " US increased their interest rates in an attempt to screw over China this year, even at the expense of their own ppl."

if you are going to spread Chinese propaganda you will need to mix in some truth in order to be successful at your mis-information mission

this statement
" US increased their interest rates in an attempt to screw over China this year, even at the expense of their own ppl."
likely works on the Chinese population , but not anyone who is permitted access to economic data and non-state controlled media

thank you for highlighting the evils of communism

You are free to see this talking point as you see fit - the great thing about our country is that we can disagree without having to resort to far left authoritarianism.

Most informed Asian Canadians or Asian Americans have the unique perspective of growing up in a country with western values that are great and while I wouldnt live in China, it doesnt mean all western talking points dont have hidden meaning that everyone can see or even agree with.

You do realize going down this rabbit hole of claiming misinformation is a left wing tactic right? I wouldnt expect many non-Asians to understand this.

I love Canada, make no mistake. But it doesnt mean US policies are all 100% without multiple factors at play.

i never claimed misinformation is exclusively a left wing tactic
i just pointed out you were caught blatantly spreading misinformation sympathetic to an evil regime

its not my fault you stated misinformation which was so ridiculously wrong and absurd, while pretending to be credible

Dude, believe what you want. I never claimed China or the US had the moral upper hand - taking things at 100% face value is what people who believe only their POV is valid is exactly the problem with Canadian and American MSM. Have a nice day.

I never changed it before lol. If you believe the US doesnt feel threated by China, then you are living in your own bubble much like the far left lunatics bent out of shape with Trump’s victory.

I have demonstrated time and time again that my values align with that with the majority in North America before you continue acting like you are the sole source of approved information here. You are free to reject my premise, but I will post what I believe is right whether you agree with it or not.

Many of the people you're debating here are not right-wing. At most some are center right.

Many are in fact left-wing (Democrats)... Democrats from the 1990s, not the new pronoun breed. They didn't change, but their party did.
People who were left 30 years ago are right today.
Things change.
If you go further back to the 19th century the Dems were the party of the racists.
The republicans ended slavery for example.

It would appear that many of people who were left 30 years ago, are extreme left today and/or raised a generation of bathshit crazy leftists.

The tactics of immediately throwing the R word around because I dared to question right wing double standards when it comes to characterizing immigrants as citizens vs "citizens" as Wyatt put it.

#1 that is an illegible statement . Getting rattled ?
#2 you did judge others by their skin color in a derogatory manner .
I had hoped we had moved on from that despicable nonsense.
Perhaps I am naïve

look
there are only two possible reasons why you would state
" US increased their interest rates in an attempt to screw over China this year, even at the expense of their own ppl."

1. you have zero economic training and have not read any business news for 2 years and are stupid beyond belief
2. you cut and pasted translated Chinese propaganda and did not proof read your post

i do not believe you to be stupid beyond belief, but you tell us
which is it ?

'Empathy' in cognitive empathy.
You were too busy trying to appear to win.
I meant what did I miss in understanding her (empathy). When I’m debating someone on something I seek to win, don’t we all? Idgi

She was the one seeking me out. I didn’t just appear to win. I did win. She and her friend tried to lecture me about laws they didn’t understand. They came for me, not the other way around. Idk why you frame it differently, that’s why I’m asking, genuinely, what did I miss in understanding their POV and intent?
