Trump tried to illegally overturn an election. He admitted he lost, but still lied about it and precipitated actions to change the vote. His voice is recorded. He cooked up an illegal scheme to stop the certification. We watched it happen. We watched him say fight like hell or you wont have a country anymore. Then sit back and allow it to happen. He said he loved those people who beat cops. These people all sentenced to gaol. He stole national security docs. Congress allocates money and he ignored it and moved money for the wall. He refused to provide emergency aid to states that didn't vote for him. He had to be tricked into it. This is all documented in first hand accounts.
Kamala did nothing to damage democracy. The Democratic party allocated the votes for her as part of the Biden ticket to her as top of the ticket. That was more problematic, but given she was on the ticket people voted for she could access the $. I wish they did a tournament type my own self. She's not my first choice.
But Trump has a long record of fraud, going back to before he ran. And all the people around him are felons.

I think you might be missing the point here as well. NOBODY asked for these dictatorships. Do you think the majority of people were consulted and gave their consent? And none of them dressed themselves up as a choice.

Dude, there are communist parties in nearly every democratic nation. Nepal and a few other places re-elected communists....but in nearly every instance of a communist government, it was seized by power.There are many examples.

Now, let's look at the US's capitalist society...they have a thin social safety net, but there are massive gaps that people fall through. There is a growing wealth inequity, where billionaires and corporations are able to minimize their tax burden....which grows on the working or middle class. HOWEVER....there is some socialism. I keep seeing subsidies to corporations to build plants or drill & refine oil. When there are economic headwinds, the government has no problem bailing out bankers who made risky bets. That is the definition of socialism. So, why shouldn't citizens enjoy the same as faceless corporations?
